I find this type of attraction more exciting compared to let’s say horror nights, six flags, etc. this place had top notch quality.

Yep. That's one of the best original scares I've ever seen.
One of the best and most unique scares was at my local haunted house was having a room with about 7 or 8 portraits all identical of a woman smiling scattered throughout the small dining room, and the person in the picture is the same in every one. One of the portraits was a actor dressed exactly like the evil looking woman in every portrait, and she'd sit still acting as If she's a portrait, then she'd pop out when you walked by. Really amazing!
Some of my other favorite scares include: a "mirror" which is just a hole in the wall with an identical set behind mimicking the room, and then a person pops out.
A person in a camo suit with a pumpkin head high up on a wall just looking like one of the pumpkins on the wall, then he leaps down and he's on a bungee cord, so he flies down and flies back up.
A prison cell with a person inside, and some of the bars on the prison are actually stretchy, and the actor can stretch them out and hop out.
Finally, there was a garden scene that had those white garden fence things (I don't know what they're called but I know that they're in gardens and they're white and tomatoes will grow on them.) But there were many of these growing things on the walls, and one of them was actually identical looking stretchy velcro, so there's was a werewolf behind it and when he put his arms through it looked like he was tearing through the fence.

Their theming is top notch, will always be my favorite haunt!
One thing that I wish got more appreciation is the fact that the story of the janitor killing the school children was legitimate legend about the building even before the haunt opened. I grew up in the area and heard that story several times. While it's possible that the owners of the haunt seeded it, it really made the rounds when I was a kid to the point that when it opened, someone told me "They opened a haunted house in that school where the janitor killed all those kids."
Out of ALL of the things you said, the thing that made me laugh the hardest was “I already ate. Thank you, though.” 😂☠️ It just hit different for some reason.

The cauldron that the witches are sitting in looks like one from an old King's Island ride called Winnie's Witch's Cauldron or something like that.

oh wow, absolute masters of the craft. this place is phenomenal!! I thought seeing you disappearing into the bubbles was a treat, but watching you emerge, confused, with a new bubble hat was something else.

Okay The Dent House was incredible. The creativity put into this place is top notch. Every corner is has something different and new. You can bearly gather yourself from previous jump scare before walking into another one. They put so much work into this hunt. This one would have definitely gotten a second walk through for me. It was so much to take in. Awesome Hunt.

It got me laughing when Jake said “Ahh! Whoa, what was that!? That was a person who just flew over my freaking head!” to “Ahhh, Ahhh! Someone’s reaching me through the freaking ceiling!”🤣 I want to go visit there really bad. For anyone works at The Dent School House, did you love working there and would you recommend anybody to visit it? The Dent School House is just a masterpiece.
Absolutely adore working at the haunt!!! I definitely recommend visiting. This year is wild and terrifying- and incredibly fun!

I don’t work there, but have considered it. I’m a school teacher and decided right now I just need my weekends off. But I have been going to The Dent for years and it gets better and better every year. That was me in the checkered jacket getting lost in the bubbles with him! 😄

Other haunted houses take notes! No crappy cheap costumes, no “get out” screams, no corny lazy make up on actors, no 14 year olds or little kids acting. Each room felt like a movie set.

Dent Schoolhouse -- easily one of the Top 3 haunts in the country. The schoolhouse theme is brilliant -- and the fact that it REALLY WAS a creepy schoolhouse (legit was!) way back in the day only adds to the authenticity. Creepy classrooms, creepy boiler room, creepy lunchroom, heck even creepy school bus yard! I also liked the fact at the end you could go up and ring the old schoolhouse bell (rope). Masterpiece! This video doesn't do it justice -- the in-person experience must be done!

This was so well done. They really strategize their scares and all the props and set dressing is so top notch. They really go out of their way to create horrific images and then bring you into them with creative scares.

I'm so glad you took one for the team because I've always been curious about what's inside the Dent School Haunted House, but I cannot do haunted houses. This is so immersive it's crazy!!
I've lived on the east side of cincinnati my whole life and I know the dent school house is on the west side and I've never been to it. I really need to get out there next year.

That is such a beautiful Haunt! I love the theming, all the detail. The story line. Alot of new stuff this year it seems. This is probably my Favorite haunt! The building alone is so cool. Ive never been but watch tours every year!

This was absolutely FANTASTIC!!! The best Ever!! So many different ideas, aspects and designs! The gently spooky fairground stalls at the beginning were wonderful and with hindsight, designed to relax you so you end up with abject horror and shock at all the Awesome things to come. I think the devil (I can't remember but know he was creepy) telling you to take a prize and the immediate jump scare was superb!! Then the bubbles, unbelievable and incredibly disorientating and weird and creepy 😱 I did laugh at the bubbles on your hat and then spotted some just inside your glasses 😂😂😂😂

This-despite being such a simplistic haunt idea-can also be used to raise light on the horror of the mainstream school system. And honestly, you are really gutsy, especially considered that you were diagnosed on the spectrum.
