I'm doing almost the same thing right now. I've got a 3906 and a 3905 emaxx. I'm taking the 3905 locking the diffs and putting the arms and all on the 3906 chassis. It's going to be my emaxx mud truck.
Keep going with your build, I'd like to see other scrap 3906 builds

Well I'm just a little late here. Currently restoring my 3rd emaxx. I try to keep them as original as possible. If you have any in condition that you want to part with let me know. I learned a couple of things here. Thanks for the video.

I just picked up a used complete set of a arms for the 3906 gonna build a real emaxx I love both of my tmaxx converted as Well love the classics

Rebuild the 3906 with brushless setup and upgraded servos. It would be fun and interesting to watch and learn, as I have 1 that needs some more pep in its step too.

This is awesome man, got myself a 3906 and threw a blx 200 esc and motor combo in it, amazing. Just keep snapping those pesty lil axles. Trying to figure out some steel ones that’ll fit without throwing on the wider arm kit from the tmaxx. If ya got any ideas lmk, otherwise I’ll continue my search haha. Have a good one m8!
Thanks for watching and commenting brock rimington! We thought about throwing in steel axles as well, but couldn't find any affordable ones. Plus, the next thing to break would be the differentials. So we've kept ours to running a 3S Lipo battery max.
How do you delete the 2 speed transmission? I’d like to do a one brushless motor set up , but don’t know where to start honestly
I have a problem that hope you can help. I am build a later version Emaxx, I have upgraded everything, but I can't find transmission brackets nor metal gears for the inside. If you can do a video for dummies on this subject I would appreciate it. There is not one on CZcams
Yes please continue. I have a black transmission case. Would the Robinson racing metal transmission gears work in that black case? Converting my tmaxx
Unfortunately I don't know and wouldn't want to give you incorrect info, you'd want to check with Robinson.
Do you have the case for the two speed tranny?
Wonder if I took out out the Novak system and replaced it with the xl5 ......hhhmmmm??

Hello, can you tell me if I can migrate the T Maxx 2.5 parts to the E-Maxx 3908 chassis?
Some parts may be compatible. It's best to look at the parts explosions for both trucks and see what part numbers match.
