I really wish all makeup products were reusable and refillable like this. It’s such a pain to depot some shadows and I travel a lot so I like making a versatile palette

Wow you decluttered a lot from your colourpop palletes! I loved this video 🤩You decluttered almost all the warm toned shades and you kept mostly the cool toned shades. Those are definitely more unique. I wish brands would come out with more cool toned palettes.
Easy tip for depotting from those plastic ColourPop palettes, you can remove the plastic piece that the shades place in fairly easily. It clips back on so if you don’t have a magnet around, you can just remove one shade with a needle or something and whip the plastic bit off, remove the shades, and then attach the piece again. Just be careful not to damage the shadows in the process.

Great work! This was fun and interesting. Something you said resonated with me. I'm realizing that I don't use eyeshadows that are not easy to work with. I'm going to look at my collection to see if that's why I don't reach for some of my palettes. I already know that I dislike fall out and glittery shades that migrate.
Basically you decluttered the whole of miss bliss palette except for one, so i guess it makes sense to put all those back in the original palette and then donate it? The receiver will feel like getting a colorpop palette just with the exception of one shade. 👀
I depotted all my plastic colourpop palettes. I honestly enjoy having them deported because I reach for them more than just an individual palette. I need to start decluttering shadows I don't use.
You were ruthless way to go! I recently got rid of my too faced hot buttered rum because I was only keeping it for the mustard yellow and I had a similar one in a palette I like better. It felt so good to do that especially as I bought two palettes recently I am very excited about. I am thinking I need to do this with singles as well.
Just decluttered 28 shadows myself. Feels great and they are going to a new home :)

Great video! I felt in the end, when i looked at the group of eyeshadows you will keep and group of the ones you wont, the ones you are keeping definitely look more cold & pastel & more wearable :)
I depotted all my CP palettes except the Child, because I like all the shades in that one. There was one that did fall out and shatter which isn't a big deal, can live without that one. Too bad more companies don't do magnetic singles, that's all I seem to be into these days. Good video.
Fun 😊 I recently depotted 4 shadows from my Cor De Rosa palette by Sigma. I combined them in a Makeup Geek empty palette with the shimmers from Cyber Bronze by Kaleidos, a random single grungy olive metallic and a couple of really sparkly shades from J.D Glow. I've been mixing them with grungy tones from Dirty Martini by Glamlite and Untamed by Sigma. I like yesterdays look until I got under more yellow lighting and then I was like uuugh. So I tried playing with the bright singles and the olive tones from Untamed. Grunge is just completely out for me it seems, unless combined with lime green.
The look I came out with was over so bright and soft at the same time. I don't think anyone would guess I used a deep murky green that leans grey and topped it with a show with a yellow base, green shift and blue sparkles.
I'm not feeling grunge, but it was cool to learn it can be used as a base to make bright sparkles really pop.
Can you tell I'm feeling inspired by Natasha's Yucca palette? And yet. I still just don't love grunge like I used to.
I've been wondering what to call midtones and for a lack of a better way to say it I've been saying bright. It's like a bright pastel and I can't find a better way to describe it. Mid toned green doesn't scream lime green to me, but I am over all feeling a light, bright/midtoned look lately.
I love how Natasha played with mixing bright and grungy shades though.

It's the end of an era! I was surprised that you only kept one shade from Miss Bliss. I eventually bought it after you talked about it so much, and I still use it. (I gave the pressed glitter to my friend, because...just no.) Your collection has changed much more than mine has, though.

You got rid of half, that's great. I thought about doing this with my ColourPop collection. But i don't know anyone who would what the remaining shades.

If you have any empty magnetic palettes you don't mind letting go of, you could put them in there to gift to someone that doesn't normally use singles! If you don't know anyone personally who wants them, you could also post them in your local Buy Nothing facebook group. I also like to keep a few of the little sleeves that singles come in if I want to declutter them to someone individually.
I’m so here for makeup violence aka depotting I get weird sense of satisfaction taking the shadows I like out of palettes and making my own palettes with z-pallets which are hard to find now at ulta and Sephora they stopped selling them I guess it’s not trendy anymore but I’m still into it.

Have you considered getting the tube squeezers from muji?
I use them to keep the product in my hand creams close to the opening of the bottle. I have just been thinking about them when watching you show your progress on the urban decay foundation squeeze tube you are currently using. 😊
I haven't heard of those but I'll have to look it up; sounds cool!!

The one I used is a magnetic clip that I'm pretty sure came in a pack from Dollar Tree, and it's a pretty strong magnet!
