Exactly the same as me! I was actually discussing Silent Hill ASMR with someone on a Twitch stream and mentioned I would look up some SH ASMR on CZcams, and low and behold. Was not expecting to find let’s play ASMR videos?! Didn’t even think this was a thing.

The game itself is even asmr. The ambience, soundtrack and the way they speak in a soft spoken manner gives the game a unique feeling

Wow, I didn't expect to actually find something like this.
Literally one of my favorite games ever made. Sure it's weird, makes you cringe due to some of the subject matter in the game, also the voice acting was purposely done that way, to make James seem bland and out of place and awkward/confused. I actually met the person who did the voice acting for James and he's a great guy. He was the one who told me that they purposely told him to have that sort of "awkward" speaking pattern and such. We talked for a good five or six hours after a convention he happened to be at.
That's so awesome! I never could tell if that "weirdness" was on purpose or not but it definitely adds so much to the experience. Thanks for sharing!
@@SideQuestASMR yep, the developers and sound tech guys gave him that direction. Because James is a fairly simple and plain guy with weird quirks and such. He's definitely someone to get used to.
This on top of the already amazing soundtrack of the game is so relaxing

amazing idea.. ASMR and Silent Hill are the perfect recipe for relaxation. i don't wanna watch some youtuber screaming obnoxiously while playing these games.. i just wish the game audio was higher

47:03 They're called "hands" in English. Even though "arms" isn't technically the right term, it sounds okay to me.
I haven't watch the whole video yet because I'm too tired but this is definitely a great idea, this game is so ASMR because of the fog and everything.
On another note, I think you have a pretty good level in English, both in terms of pronounciation and vocabulary. I've discussed once with the singer of a Swedish metal band (Amaranthe) and she told me that Scandinavian people have a pretty good level in English because they're used to watch TV programs in English since their very young age. In fact, foreign TV programs are rarely dubbed in swedish, finish, danish and norwegian so Scandinavian people are used to watch TV programs in VOST.
I'm personaly French and I think we have the worst level in English both in terms of vocabulary and pronouciation with our big French accent x)

Thank you Karma. I want to get back to it soon. Lots of stuff has been getting in the way lately and I want to make sure that when I do get back I have the time and energy to finish up SH3 in a more reasonable time frame. Hopefully soon!
