- A massive winter storm is spreading wild weather all across the country and millions are in its path. There are blizzard warnings for the Midwest, a tornado threat for parts of the South, and heavy rain, flooding and high winds are taking aim at the Northeast. NBC’s Maggie Vespa reports and TODAY’s Al Roker tracks the latest forecast.

This morning after watching this I went back to the 90s and watched some weather videos on CZcams. No dramatic music, no end of days mood, no fast concerning talking. I am convinced that today mainstream media makes everything into a SHTF drama to influence your emotions.

They’re not “shocked” Man, people do commute, own property & have children so this is concerning for Public Safety & personnel Health. Storms don’t always cause damage evenly but anyone’s property/home, health & family may be an unfortunate victim next go at it.

The meteorologists are so dramatic these days. I'm in Savannah and my office closed at noon today because the weather was supposed to be so bad. We got some drizzling rain, a little wind and a couple claps of thunder. It was a great big NOTHING. I guess the drama is for ratings? Just stop.

WHY aren't we collecting rainwater that can be filtered to use for crops, etc. We should be building WATER pipe lines and not oil pipelines. Ship it to the west where places are bone dry...too optimistic?
