I'm still using my pocket4k for my short films. You need just a bit of extra lights to have sharper focused edges. But gives off an incredible image quality vs most Cameras at that price point.
I was blown away by the 4K when I first got it. It's really sharp with a decent lens! I shot this spot with it. I used a Tamron 17mm to 50mm lens 2.0 lens. czcams.com/video/smzKnbloi6A/video.html
I have the 4K and the 6K G2, but on the 4K, I have the Metabones .64 made for the BMPCC 4K. The Viltrox is not as sharp. Man, the rolling shutter effect is really bad on the 6K FF!
Thanks for watching. On the Pocket 4k the color temp is 5600 and on the Full frame it's 4500. I'am using a Amaran light with a softbox set at 5200 K and in the back I use a RDB tube light (blue color) 3200 K. Hope this helps.
@@anotherintrospekt6596 In a sense, the 4k technically does have open gate, meaning it records with the entire sensor. The sensor shape is 17:9, so the entire sensor is used when filming 4K. However the 6K dimensions are 3:2, so that is why its Open Gate recording is shaped the way it is.
