I think the Early Evening News took the corporate branding by June 1995 at the latest. Overnight bulletins changed by June at the latest as well. Not sure about weekend news, I remember seeing a weekend bulletin from 1st July 1995 in the old format, but I think by July or August 1995 they had changed, can anyone confirm?

Does anyone know when in 1995 did the corporate re-branding take place for all ITN News bulletins, were the Big Ben clockface was used for all bulletins and they all moved into the main ITN newsroom studio, with the exception of News at Ten which aired from their own studio?

As I remember the Lunchtime News was rebranded first, possibly around March 1995. The Early Evening News followed a couple of months later. Weekend and overnight bulletins continued in the old format until later in 1995.

Alan Teague Thanks for that, I thought they all rebranded in one go as they would do these days. News at Ten moved into the basement studio in 1994 I think, as the opening titles up to then for the programme featured a view of the ITN newsroom, from late 1994 they just went from the Big Ben shot straight into the news at ten set.

I do remember that from at least the start of 1995 they were faking the old newsroom set with CSO backdrop and recorded shots across the atrium. Presumably they were preparing the newsroom set for the revamp.

That is right because I have seen on CZcams a feed of News at Ten rehearsal in 1995 and it shows Trevor McDonald in the set with a blue screen where they would insert a shot of the newsroom.

Also if you compare the background on the Early Evening News I uploaded from Jan 1995 with the background on the morning news from Aug 1994 it's clearly the same so was obviously CSO by then.
