    This was a very interesting video with many very impressive machines. Thank you for including the segment on The Big Muskie Dragline, which is a favorite of many of us. Most of us know is has been scrapped for a couple of decades now, but it was a monster with a 200 plus yard bucket.

    At 10:42 they claim it takes two people to operate the Cat 6090FS. There is one operator with two engines in this machine not two operators as they claim.

    A little correction on the 450 ton Belaz mining truck: the front and rear axle assembly is identical. The whole axles are steered hydraulically so it's a AWD and AWS truck. ✌️
    But I'm always amazed on the crazy engineering needed to create all these monstrous machines. These give computers a run for their money with all the FEA (Finite Element Analysis) needed... 😇

    I have seen the Big Musky In operation. In fact I got a ride with the shift foeman. He drove up to within 300 ft while it was working. They had a spare bucket that we could get in it . That experience was awesome this won't let me number the yards tw0 hundred & twenty. Would like to see a listing of bucket sizes of different excavators. This is a great listing of machines I like it .I am an old heavy equipment operator Thirty five yearsexxperience.

    Almost all the really big hydraulic shovels have two engines and it only requires one operator.

    the 1st largest dozer I operate is the Cat D11T I also experienced to operate the cat 6090F monster excavator its awesome I wish I can experience more different big machine in future

      Sorry right now I have forgot the name of the Italian Dozer and Grader designer.
      Although not used the two designs were Incredible! Was a Real Shame that they destroyed the Grader!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

      @@edwardcarberry1095 It was Umberto Acco's bulldozer, built with Caterpillar parts (183 tons), which has been preserved, and indeed the Acco grader (200 tons) unfortunately not.

      There are large hydraulic cylinders built in each side of the bucket, these open and close the clam.

      @@justdoesntaddup8620 Hi Just, I was referring to the rope operated face shovels. A rope opens the door on the back of the bucket, I see that now. Maybe the bucket is pulled back sharply and the door slams shut? 🤔 Best regards.

    You talk about a P&H wheel loader, then talk about a bigger Komatsu while showing a Le Tourneau.
    Why?

      Because P&H bought Le Tourneau who were then bought by Komatsu. It's easier to buy a company that makes the machine you need than to design one yourself.

    The Liebherr R9800 has a 59 cubic yard bucket not 37. The Caterpillar 6090 formerly O&K/Terex RH400 is the largest hydraulic shovel excavator.

      The Liebherr R9800 has a bucket of 59 cubic yards which is completely wrong, it is exactly 119 cubic yards.

    Fun fact the super dozers from komatsu were only sold as dozers with no ripper or only a ripper and there are 2 machines in the world with both a ripper and blade both are in New Zealand and the footage of the two working side by side is footage of these 2 machines

    Your missing a few things.THe Bucyrus Erie 3270 Lot 1 & LOt 2 walking draglines at about 20 million pounds apiece.THe Marion 5900,5960 stripping shovels.THe L2350 is the largest wheel loader ever built.Or both Bucyus Erie 3850-B stripping shovels at 120 yards & 140 yards.How about the Hitachi EX8000-6 & the Komatsu PC8000 that are the same size as the R9800.How about the Caterpillar 7495 cable shovel.But the biggest omisson from this list is the largest stripping shovel ever built the Marion Power Company 6360 otherwise known as THe Captain.The 6360 weighs more the the Big Muskie dragline does.THe 6360 weighed in at 30 million pounds & had a dipper of 180 yards & had 4 sets of tracks on all 4 corners that were 40 feet long & 16 feet high.That should be it least #3 on this list.Ironically Marion also made the NASA crawler you show here.

    I suggest y’all do a more in depth look at big Muskie, the end of it is extremely saddening if you read from several sources, one example of a crime that nobody could arrest anybody for,

    Sorry looked a the Acco Dozer its no where near as big as the one Ive come up with just hasnt been bullt mine can push 6 to 8 times more earth than Komatsus D575A-2 super dozer or the Acco Im planning on talking to cat about my dozer and they can try and build it.

    I was so fascinated being I work in a quarry with all the over sized equipment until the NASA bullshit. All that to haul rockets that crash into the Bermuda Triangle. That’s a whole lot of money and equipment for lies… 😢😂😂😂
