    Grabbed myself an XPA-two for some Arendal 1723 THX. So, so happy. I'm waiting for the Fed Ex dude to drop off my pair of XS12s atm, too...

      @@EmotivaAudioCorp I'm incredibly happy w/ my decision. The amp is a powerhouse & the XS12 may be the best "bang for your buck" powered subwoofer on the market right now.
      ...and that's not even a slight exaggeration. They are absolutely incredible for what they cost...

    My family just inherited a pair of KEF107 signature series speakers. We need assistance with determining what amplifier we should use. What would you recommend? Specs: “Nominal impedance: 4 ohms resistive. Sensitivity: 90dB/W/m (2.83V band-limited pink noise, 50Hz-20kHz, anechoic). Amplifier requirements: 50-300W. Maximum output: 112dB spl on program peaks under typical listening conditions.”

    hello, I have the bowers & wilkins 603 s2 speakers to enjoy the speakers at their maximum value, how much power do I need. emotiva basx a2 is ok or does it need to be stronger

      do you think emotiva makes a good pair with B&W 603 S2

    • @EmotivaAudioCorp
      @EmotivaAudioCorp  Před 4 měsíci +1

      The A2 could handle moderate volumes with that speaker but if you like to really crank up the volume, I would recommend our XPA2.

      It depends of sensivity of speakers.
      My speakers are 85dB, so they like a lot of power to be really dynamic.
      Most speakers like a lot of power, but in a small room with Klipsch speakers, you can do with 50 Watts, as he said.

    Anything under 90 DB;s is consider bad in Audio and everything over 90 is good, as per all experts and audiophiles. Of course majority of OK or average speakers are below 90 DB.
