Freesia is such a sentimental scent for me. My mom used to carry the hand cream in her purse when I was younger. With her no longer being with us I did pick up the FFM just to have in my collection because it brings back memories of my mom. 🥰

I’m actually wearing Freesia today. I’ve loved it since the 90s back when I first discovered BBW. I’m glad they brought it back for SAS. I also loved Plumeria, Sun Ripened Raspberry and Juniper Breeze from those days. 💜

I went into bath🛀 and body works to pick up my two online BOPIS orders and I said I wasn't buying anything else and bought 6 more body products lol😂😂haha😅😅
I also fell into a red bin vortex today, picked up my 4 piece BOPIS and left with an additional 9.
As I've gotten older I've found myself appreciating stronger floral B&BW scents (like Moonlight Path, Juniper Breeze, and now Freesia), especially in shower gels for the aromatherapy aspect. They're classics for a reason, and while I'll never say no to a well made fruity floral or aquatic scent I'm glad an oldie like this one swung back around.

I saw a young teenager with Freesia in her hands ready to buy. I remember thinking, I would think a youngster would buy Cotton Candy Clouds or Sweetheart Cherry! Not floral!

Correct! I remember wearing Freesia 💜 in 1993/1994 in school and everyone went crazy when I would take out the lotion and put it on because they loved the smell & wanted to know what it was, LOL! 🥰
I scored big time!!! i just got back from the store i spent 184.31 and saved 487.62!! I got like 12 Christmas candles some hot pink cocoa, english crunch toffee my fav, sugared snickerdoodle and others such a good deal ❤❤❤

I love florals and Freesia is one of the best ever. It's not overpowering like the actual flower can be. If you love florals, buy it before its gone again for who knows how long.

I have some of my original Freesia left and I'm gonna start wearing it today lol. I made an online purchase last night of all the 3.95 FFMs. I'm so eager to compare the two Freesias!
They smell the same to me but my mist from 2016 has such great longevity. The new one fades quickly

I think the body care is going up $1 tomorrow and the candles are going up either $1 or $2. The manager at one of the local stores told me that the Peach Bellini was going from 50% off to 75% off tomorrow. I don't know if that's the only scent doing that.
I didn’t like Freesia. The mist I thought was ok but the cream I did not like at all. To my nose there was this grass component to it.

Yeah, the hyacinth is very green and grassy. This is something I might like as a candle, but not on my skin. I skipped it.
Happy Monday Bonnie and Coco! I don’t like Freesia but I did pick it up to add to my collection since it is one of the classics. I had to wash my hands after I sprayed it in the store because I didn’t like the sharpness of it. The packaging is really pretty though! Love the purple.

I loved Loved Freesia from the late 90's it has changed over the years. I bought a bunch on Saturday it's too bad the scent does not last i can vaguely smell it after 1 hour. As to where the one from the 90's was all day strong!
Hi Bonnie! Not a Freesia fan but I am 100% a CoCo fan. I too have a barker of my own. Any outdoor movement and it is on!!! I agree why do all the scents that I dislike have to be the ones with the best staying power. So frustrating. Thanks for the review and sharing CoCo with her adoring fans🐶♥

Happy SAS Day 3. I was surprised the candles were still on sale too, so I ordered a few more & did a bopis. I'll pick them up when more bcare goes down to 75%. Smelled Freesia in-stores & not sure if I like it bc it doesn't remind me of Freesia from yrs ago. Gonna play around with it to see if I want it, tfs.
I think I liked Freesia a bit in the 90s. I smelled it in store yesterday and it was awful. I think it's the white musk that ruins it. Why do they have to put either musk or coconut in everything?

The prices for body care went up from $4.95 to $5.95 online for Canadians. Was going to go in store and pick up a few mists. But I think I’m going to pass and see if it goes back down. Sucks that it’s not for the duration of the sale.
Right! I'm in Ontario and paid 4.95 on Sat. Today it was 5.95. I had a coupon so actually paid 3.78 on Saturday!

Bonnie Freesia changed the formula. It used to have lris, now it has hyacinth with most people do not like because it's oddly scented
I have hyacinths in my front garden and love the scent when I walk up my pathway. Don't find it an odd sc ent at all as a matter fact bought a complete body care collection from Etsy and love it.
The iris note is in Sheer Freesia. The original Freesia always had the hyacinth note in it! 😉

This other store I went didn’t have any Christmas candles either. Just palo santo candle that was a no for me ! Coco is a cutie! Mine barks at everything too 😂

LOL sounds like my dog ( a terrier mix ) he literally barks at everything - people,dogs, squirrels, the mail truck, a leave on the trees 😅😂 / Up here in Canada they have already moved our set price point up by $1.00 ( though they also gave us a $10 off $40 coupon ), I didn't like Freesia either Bonnie, for the exact same reasons as you. Cherry Blossom and Wild Madagascar Vanilla are wonderful though, and Tahiti Island Dream is alright too....

Everything I bought this SAS has literally no longevity! I mean 2 minutes after I apply it the scent is gone! Sprays and lotions/creams! I pulled out some products from 2 years ago to compare and there's a stark difference. I think im done for body care and will just stick to candles.

I don’t like this year’s version, it smells like industrial cleaner to me. I remember the original one being soft and floral.
Since you mentioned you remember it being 'soft' could you possibly be mistaking it with the Sheer Freesia scent & not the original Freesia scent? I only ask because I've been a fan of the original Freesia scent since the 90's (was never a fan of Sheer Freesia) & haven't been able to smell this year's Freesia yet... so I'm very curious now?! 🤷♀️

Yeah, Sheer Freesia is significantly different! I was never a fan of that one. I love the original Freesia too and I haven't been able to smell this year's version yet, so that's such a bummer to hear that it doesn't smell good like the original 90's version... ugh, that's such a bummer! 😒

How is the cherry blossom is it good or bad ? I asked because the ingredients are different from Japanese cherry blossom
