- I used my Gopro10 to film my batting innings during a village cricket match. Although it was a frustrating day for me personally, the team needed to win the match. How would you play this game?

It really was, unfortunately I don't have a sweep in me - perhaps something to work on. Hopefully a bit of good luck comes my way. Yes, we're over the moon with the result, although the side were relegated last season we've recruited really well. 4-5 solid top order batsmen, along with a strong bowling unit. Shame that they scrapped the Sunday cup competition, we don't have a league match for another 4 weeks!!!
Against such slow bowling, sometimes it’s better to camp on the Back foot and score from there. Was a Jaffa there tho
We have a saying here at our club; 'Never go back on an Eccy track'. The ball often shoots quite low and playing on the back foot becomes a massive risk. 9 Times out of 10 it results in being bowled, as you saw with our opening bat. Yeah I am chalking this one down to a good ball. Hoping I get some luck soon.
@@alpinecricketer haha, I guess that tactic only works on a good track in July/August. Hoping for some sun in the UK this weekend
@arjunarao2233 normally I'd agree with you but despite months of wet weather the last few weeks of dry weather have caked our square. It's very much played like we're In August. Lots of cracks on the strips.

It wasn't the low bounce that surprised me. The two balls before had gone straight on, so for it to turn and beat me through the gate...that caught me off guard. Never happened to me before.
