Riding with people who “started” on street motorcycles terrifies me! Learning on dirt bikes for a good while teaches you how to handle different terrains and avoid certain things that road riding does not.
With previous off road experience, I think the R7 would be just fine. The power band is very MX like. As a legitimate first bike ever? No way.
Ehh it depends, if you strictly just want to ride street it’s pretty good, some people don’t have the funds to dish out more for a dirt bike
😮😮😮😮😮😮.
I started on the R7 in the Virginia area as well I will say Riders course MTO3 definitely helped. In and out of traffic it’s beautiful and still can get you a felony. There was one time I wasn’t seated exactly right and almost came off it so beginners do need to remember that torque can hit you.
Yeah that torque is there man! It makes it a great stunt bike!
I just got the 24 yahama R7 and love it. It's my 2nd bike.
Awesome! It's a great bike! Ride Safe!
yo what lever guard is that on the front brake side that looks sick
In the lighting? My guy it's in the shade.....lol. Beautiful bike though
My first bike was a 125, 2nd bike was a Fazer 600 with 98bhp. Bought it for 2 and half grand. No need to buy new if you're just starting out, unless you have plenty of money of course. I feel starting on a smaller bike made me a safer rider as i let out all of my excitement on that and had matured by the time i got a bigger bike. Still have fun of course, just not too silly.
Yo that Dynamic white paint is 🔥 but a lot of good points you had in this one. Also, I've noticed how you have all these nice roads with no traffic. There is going to be traffic everywhere in Florida, trust me. Super nice weather but it is over crowded. Just a heads up. Great video!
Thank you bro! I see you tuning into each video and I really appreciate all the support! I didn't even think about that! Yeah where I'm at right now I do have some nice access to more open/country type roads then if I ride the opposite way it is all traffic/city area.
Braddock Road, you in Fairfax VA?
sheesh that exhaust has a nice growl which one did you go with?
Thanks! Yoshimura AT2 Full Stainless
Hi I'm into Kawasaki ninja 250 class bikes
I have Intensity White I want to instill full system exhaust I was wonder do I need to tune the bike after the exaust instill?
Great color! Yes I would definitely tune it after a full system, it doesn't have to be right away but as soon as possible for sure!
@@dmvamg ok think you

Your bike looked amazing brother!
preciate it man🙏🙏
Yes, I have one and im not a beginner.. i just love the bike.. but its beginner friendly as opening up the throttle a little will not send you into the stars !
Such a good looking bike, great beginner bike! The CP2 engine sounds sooooo good!
Thank you!
Your videos are top quality! You need for subs
Thank you!
can you start on an R7? sure. should you? absolutely not. I also started on a 125cc and it was the best decision ever. make your newb mistakes on a forgiving baby bike, not a twitchy-ass full on sportbike. it’s the difference between a whoopsie and crashing.
if you’re familiar with all the aspects of how to ride a bike, then and only then go and upgrade your beginner bike to something with more oomph.
I started on a 2020 gsxr 600. My only ever experience being on dirt bikes when I was 12, I don't think any bike is a "beginner bike" it's all about whether or not you have the discipline and control.
Exactly!
Thats why imma buy the Ninja 500 SE as my first bike.
I think thats the perfect bike for me to learn on. its not to slow and not to fast. just right in the middle.
i was thinking about the R7 but since im from EU you have that A1-A2-A drivers license
bull sh** And so here you have two versions of the R7 one with limited power for the A2 riders.
and i dont feel like buying a bike over 10k that cant even show its true power.
my opinion is if you have dirtbike experience r7 good ass beginner bike if you have literally never ridden a motorbike ninja400, if you start on a bigger bike you arent going to instantly die or 100% chance of dying. your progression will be alot slower than someone who is riding a 400 bc they can push the limits of the bike and theyre not scared of the bike people need to leave the ego at the door when motorcycling. the only way to get years of experience and knowledge is to ride for years
I completely agree!
In UK we start on 125cc, got to drive the Grom back to the instructor's house, was amazing. I wouldn't say R7 is a good starter bike but you guys have very long trips and wide roads, makes a little more sense.
