Day 301 - Red Headed Fiddler's Waltz - Patti Kusturok's 365 Days of Fiddle Tunes

I couldn't just do only one tune with Yvette Audette. She plays so lovely on the waltzes. This tune is also known as I'll Be All Smiles Tonight.

My grandmother plays piano the exact same way. She will be 100 at the end of the month, and she often tells stories of her and my uncle bud playing the fiddle for the men after they had come back from a days work in the woods.

it was so cool to see Yvette as I have known her since I was a very young child. She does play beautifully! Now my own daughter is learning to play this tune on her violin! :)

This is a good one.
I never heard it called The Red Headed Fiddler but it is still one of my favorites that I have been playing for years. Your friend has a wonderful waltz rhythm. Any fiddler would be happy to have her for backup.
