    I feel you really enjoyed it. Please, jump back to 70s and listen to the White Queen at Hammersmith 75. It's another vibe and a great performance.

      I'm pretty sure the scaffolding this night was Freddie just limbering up, getting in a little practice for later.😉

    They are actually amazing and their body of work is timeless.
    Freddie's voice is beyond beauty. Brian's guitar work is superb.
    Roger's drums are solid. John carries it with the bass. Still sounds
    fresh today.
    With a powerful voice and charismatic presence,
    stands out as the greatest frontman in Rock and Roll history. Once he
    stepped on the stage, the audience knew that they were a part of
    something special. Having over a four-octave vocal range coupled with a
    flamboyant personality, Mercury kept his concerts alive every second.

      Saw them in the early 80's, by the last song of the night, NO-ONE was sitting.
      Tangent, he sang "you made an asshole out of me" - that's not on the album version. That was Freddie improvising.

    • @3ScotsInk
      @3ScotsInk Před 3 lety +5

      Important to know the definitions of music styles. Queen did no 'bubblegum.' And I hope you're not implying this song was 'bubblegum.' Jesus Christ!

    • @leonarae8496
      @leonarae8496 Před 2 lety +5

      Are you kidding? Obviously you have not delved deeper than some of their mainstream hits. Do yourself a favour and listen to White Man off A Day at the Races album. Queen were not afraid to tackle controversial topics and say it like it is. It’s an incredible song. While you’re at it Innuendo, The Prophets Song, Jealousy, Las Palabras Di Amor….why don’t you start at the beginning and do all of them, and then see if you still want to accuse them of being bubblegum

    • @ben1ben
      @ben1ben Před 2 lety +3
