When I first saw this, it was at a Christian camp my grandmother took me when I was younger. We should have this brought back to the children because these stories are so well done that they help us develop our morality better than most people would think.
Im 18 now but I used to love these as a kid! I would watch anytime it was on TV. And still somehow I grew up to be atheist... I'm surprised myself. I realized I was at the age of 13 or so. Still, it was pretty entertaining to watch, the slow paced way to tell the stories is quite relaxing.~

(In the sense that I don't think at any point I was Christian) At home religion wasn't heavly enforced on me and my brother, even though my mom was a big devotee and would take us to church often. But much like any other child, I had no idea what was happening, I had no concept of worship and I didn't realize until later on that God was something people believed in. Eventually I learned what atheism was. Though, nothing really changed, all that happened is that suddenly I had a term for the way I was. For that reason I can't pin point an exact date where I "became" atheist, I don't think that's what happened. As for the reason _why_... I'm not sure how properly describe but I guess it just never made much sense to me? I'm not talking about contractions within the religion or anything like that, but more like... Religion never had much appeal to me. Well, the fact that I was never shown proper proof also probably helped- It's a matter of multiple facets, but in general it was a combination of "No solid proof" and "Felt no need for religion".
What an amazing story and lesson! Although we may have not much to offer, when we offer what we have to Jesus, He is the one who multiplies it. Just like the boy who had 5 bread and 2 fishes with the little amount Jesus was able to multiply it to feed the 5000. Jesus is the one who makes the impossible possible and creates a way when it seems like there is no way. Continue to pray and seek the Lord even when we don't feel like it. Seek the Lord and He will reveal and answer you.
