At 8:30 he highlights the portion to remove, which includes the visible vertical lines (which I think is a clicking sound), but then after he deletes the gap, the vertical line is still there. Can anyone explain why?

Launch the RX application. Go to file open, in the top menu and choose your audio file, or simply drag and drop it in from your desired folder.

So this functions as a stand alone program? I'm not a pro, just an audiophile who owns a few records and tapes that were never released on CD, and I have some old band recordings that have a lot of audio problems. This seems almost miraculous, and for $400 anyone could buy this, if you count music as important in your life.

It's called 'RX connect', to destructive edit, click 'connect', highlight the text, then hit 'send' and it pops up in the stand alone. When you're done, you send it back and embeds all the changes.

For an audio mixing software company, the level ratio of music to dialogue has a lot to be desired in these videos. I have to turn the speakers down on music and back up to hear speaking. Very bad mixing.
