Absolutely FABULOUS Chinese sprinter/hurdler.... What a superstar! Liu was destined for GREAT THINGS, but only a tragic untimely injury could slow him down. If you watch the race, he slowed himself down by looking across the line to see who was ahead or close to him. Hid time could eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeasiky have been much faster.... 🇨🇳👍🙏✊🏼
Liu Xiang was set up to fail. He scored the best in the qualifiers but he was placed on track 9 for the final... usually the best qualifier is put on track 5. Being on track 1 or track 9 means that you cannot monitor the whole race clearly and it affects your judgement and muscle memory. He never raced a final on the side tracks, so he could be uncomfortable as well. Anyway, he proved that he was the fastest of his time. If it was not for his injuries , Robles and Merritt could have never got the chance to break the WR. They never won LIU on the tracks. Robles even cheated in 2011 when Liu was about to overrun him. I wish that Liu was on track 9 as well so that nobody could have grabbed him!!!
Terrence Trammel was the male Merlene Ottey. He was such a hard worker, he deserved a gold metal. The second Chinese runner was sleep when the gun went off.
