The proper video for both the relays and the ecm is what I have been searching for so long. Explained so professionally and simple instructions. Man, you are a legend. Thank you so much man.

Thanks for the demonstration 👍 Will be doing this task on my 94 Lexus ES300 this weekend. Been getting a CEL P1600 for low voltage to the ECU. Hope it’s something simple vs repairing the internal ECU capacitors 😬

Thank you. Great video. I'm having intermittent start stalling issues. This video and comments are helpful with theory to diagnose this problem.

96 camry with a rebuilt motor , I just replaced the ecu and it ran great for 1 day. Got in it to go to work today and I couldn't even make it 2 houses down as it would bog down when you hit the gas. I did have to replace a electrical pigtail on the crankshaft sensor and readjusted the serpentine. This is the 2nd ecu I've put in and not sure where to go from here?

I have a question to ask you or anyone reading this comment. I have a 2007 Toyota Corolla. I lost the key so I had a couple people come out to cut a key and reprogram the key. One person said the 'immobilizer amplifier' was broken and that's why they could not reprogram the key. A few days passed and I found the original key however it would not start the car because the old key was erased from the computer and the car was in program mode with the security light on. I bought a new key, ignition, immobilizer amplifier, ECU all from the same make and model and all from the same car so they were already merried together. When I put the parts in my car it would turn over but not fire up. The car was running perfectly fine before I lost the key. Any ideas on how to fix this or what I can do to finally get the car started ?

Do you know if you buy a used ecm from same model and year do you have to reprogram the ecm?

Would this be related to no communication with ecu but does have power I just got this car in from a family member tried scanning no luck and it runs terrible so I'm thinking something about this is the blame

I have a 96 camry wagon and I'm trying to program another key fab. I've seen that you have to locate the ECU and press somekind 9f button on it. Is there a Botton an the ECU? Thanks

Did your car run for 15 minute then die out?

    • @tongo117
      @tongo117  Před 2 lety +1

      No..
      Ran 127 miles no stalling..
      Stalling returned..
Replaced fuel filter and fuel pump.. (posted videos for both)
      Ran 24 miles no stalling..
Stalled again and would not restart.. Check engine light on but no communication with ECU.. Towed home by AAA
Since tow home haven't left driveway but.. no stalling..
Replacing camshaft and crankshaft position sensors next..
      Checking prices for ECU rebuild..
No communication with ECU has me guessing what the problem is..

@@tongo117 Have you tried the ClubLexus ECU repair thread? Bascically you have to replace the capacitors. Also, are you getting a P1600 error code?
