Honestly, both of these games are a mess, but I have to give credit to FC 24, not for its gameplay but actually delivering game modes that are really fun to play with the mates. This is why efootball has to improve, sure they make a lot of money with efootball cards however, if 2K come in to the mix with an ultimate team and a career mode similar to GM mode and Player mode from NBA 2K there will be a day that stops. We need competition badly with football games!
Nothing compares to Efootball commentary and gameplay. EaFC cutscenes and entire animation is just better. Tbh Efootball graphics has improved, and i believe they'll out do themselves on the 2025 version. It's progress

If you want fancy looks and atmosphere, with absolute piss-poor gameplay, then look no further than EAFC If you want the closest thing possible to actually playing a game of football, but with zero fancy things added and zero care or support from the vendor, you can delight yourself with Konami's excruciatingly poorly presented offering. Both companies should be absolutely ashamed of themselves.
I only play efootball and am only a casual offline player. So the only things I would take from FC24 are the cut scenes, licenses and the euros format.

efootball 24 is mainly created for professional players and for efootball tournaments in my opinion. they use the game modes for training. We as normies just get a piece of the cake. Thats why offline content is lacking while eafc is for the vast population.
only improving the turf and changing the horrendous color scheming of the scoreboard and all over it is on efoot will make a HUGE diff imo in terms of graphics.

The fact I am still getting option files for correct kits, doing my own player edits and playing Euro2020 on the PES2021 update for the best overall experience is damning for all concerned.
I think the freezing is still there - especially when you don't get to the ball first - they stop for no reason, without the new animation. It's also so annoying trying to just get a shot off, they need to add some correlation between a stat (like awareness) and just kicking it quickly - so they just shoot before the defender reaches them rather than never actually shoot at all - even if it means kicking at less power than you input.
I think the best way how to play EURO 2024 is to play modded PES 2021. However EAFC is doing pretty good job too. Hopefully in near future 2K will save the football game :). Efootball has been joke since the release.

Efootball’s mode looks nice but EA FC 24 for me, still disappointing with the lack of pre match walkouts but overall I enjoyed the Euros mode on FC 24. 👍🏻
Well i haven’t played any versions of both game since 2016, but honestly Fifa or FC seems more real, lively than efootball or PES. I used to played PES since way back but i don’t see many improves for past six to ten years be honest.

as a football player myself i feel fifa feels unrealistic as compared to efootball . The passes, shots and dribbling in fc 24 feels like you are controlling a cartoon whereas i feel that gameplay wise the efootball is more realistic .
Every move in FC 24 is not make any sense, how come every match have bicycle kick, that is make bicycle kick not special anymore, FC 24 just talking about pace and skill move, there's no football game play at all.

And I disagree with what you said in terms of defending . Defending on eafc 24 is by far more superior and better on eafc24, efootball defending is very robotic and repetitive
Well, well, well... That time has come too...? Often I tend to be quite aggressive when I give a critique. Lately I have been spitting like a Spitfire against KONAMI and how difficult it is to dribble in that game, but recently I have improved in that field so I admit I was not fair. Part of the reason for this was that I used to have a shitty USB cable that was causing a ton of lag, so pay attention to that boys and girls. Second apology, goes to E-Sports and theirs FC24. Again, now with the new USB cable it feels much better, so finally I have decided to sit down and give a chance to this game and o boy, o boy.... I am having so much fun 🤭🤭🤭 I am playing in a player career mode with Luka Modric. I have discovered that you can press "X", "O" or "∆" button to force your AI teammates to pass the ball to you. Like this you can strategically position yourself and create all sorts of marvelous actions. It is true freedom. If only KONAMI would decide to add this feature into their repertoire. For now they have just a straight 1-2 pass feature as far as I know. However I still prefer eFootball gameplay, but I also have so much fun in FC24 career mode. So again, apologies. It was my bad. I am at least glad that I don't have issues to admit that I was wrong.

Yes, but....if noone criticises the game, the game will not improve. There's countless things I've raised in the past and have been fixed because I complained/raised awareness about them, making it a better game. If we didn't criticise in a constructive way, nothing would get done. That's how the world moves forward and how we evolve. EA FC 24 is light years ahead of eFootball 2024, in terms of everything. eFootball fanboys need to be honest with themselves, and stop laughing at people who prefer EA FC 24. The last FIFA I played was FIFA 21. I spent these last two years playing eFootball and upgrading my team and I didn't spend much money in the game because I know it's not a full game yet, but last week I decided to try out EA FC because I found it for 13 dollars in Epic Games store, and honesly I saw a night and day difference between EA FC and eFootball, and I truly regret wasting the last months and years of my life playing eFootball, which is a prototype, worse than an alpha test of a game. eFootball is a complete garbage compared to EA FC 24, and FC 24 deserve the full price because it is a full game with tons of modes to play and tons of licenses and tons of content that's updated on a weekly basis. Honestly, people who are defending eFootball, deserve to be playing this garbage.

Hello guys! I have re-installed FIFA after watching this review. It was FOMO, I guess. OMG! What a piece of crap. Seriously guys!!!? Are u joking me? It got even worse than it was before. I had FIFA2024 installed. The amount of "gliding" in this game has just reached EPIC level. I feel 0 (Z E R O) connection with selected player. The best I can do to describe this feeling is as "Sliding". Common, the game is terrible, it has all the bells and whistles to try to cover the fact that it's most important part, gameplay simply sucks. Most probably developers of this game were watching figure skating while getting ideas about how to develop it. Most probably that is the reason why it reminds me so much of a bloody figure skating 😁😁😁 To me graphics, atmosphere and all that crap do not matter if gameplay sucks. I know eFootball is far from perfect, but to say that this piece of crap is better than eFootball simply put is a sacrilege. 😮😮😮
Both are crap, ea fc gameplay is terrible, players look as though they are gliding along the pitch, doesnt feel like a football game when playing it. Ea need to change their engine. As for efootball what a s**t show. Gameplay is ok but not having have the clubs in the game, no editing and and graphics are poor. Cant even change how many minutes (apart from two options) a game will last offline is shocking. The sooner 2k bring a game out the better.
I turned my back on FIFA in 2010 after playing both it and PES from 2002 when games started becoming too expensive to justify buying both. I hated FIFA, only got PES all the way up to 2021. I play EAFC now for career mode and have been having fun playing the EUROS, so sad.
EA FC just needs to swap out the animations for eFootball and you would have literally no reason to ever consider eFootball anymore. EA FC absolutely trounces the game in literally every other department except the awful player animations, still look like they're skating on the pitch.

Part of the reason for this was that I used to have a shitty USB cable that was causing a ton of lag, so pay attention to that boys and girls.

I am playing in a player career mode with Luka Modric. I have discovered that you can press "X", "O" or "∆" button to force your AI teammates to pass the ball to you. Like this you can strategically position yourself and create all sorts of marvelous actions. It is true freedom. If only KONAMI would decide to add this feature into their repertoire. For now they have just a straight 1-2 pass feature as far as I know.
However I still prefer eFootball gameplay, but I also have so much fun in FC24 career mode.

Since efootball put little or no effort at all at improving the game,like the video say,presentation,interface etc.they all about changing gameplay,same cards while drying out your wallet,which make it a no value for money game, but let wait and see what eFootball25 presents.

Yes, but....if noone criticises the game, the game will not improve. There's countless things I've raised in the past and have been fixed because I complained/raised awareness about them, making it a better game. If we didn't criticise in a constructive way, nothing would get done. That's how the world moves forward and how we evolve. That's how I became a CZcamsr because I was criticized for not being able to talk to more than 5 people.

Considering that no game will ever reproduce the real match I prefer FC. I've been watching the Euro and must say it is quite boring. The pace is so slow, endless passing waiting for a scoring chance... Zzzzz Do we really want such a pain in the @@@ in a videogame version too? When I play I want to have some fun. My opinion :-)

What a massacre of individual completely marginal things to compare to get this result but I guess you had to break it in 17 individual vs scoring subjects to give EA FC at least a chance.

EA FC 24 is light years ahead of eFootball 2024, in terms of everything. eFootball fanboys need to be honest with themselves, and stop laughing at people who prefer EA FC 24. The last FIFA I played was FIFA 21. I spent these last two years playing eFootball and upgrading my team and I didn't spend much money in the game because I know it's not a full game yet, but last week I decided to try out EA FC because I found it for 13 dollars in Epic Games store, and honesly I saw a night and day difference between EA FC and eFootball, and I truly regret wasting the last months and years of my life playing eFootball, which is a prototype, worse than an alpha test of a game. eFootball is a complete garbage compared to EA FC 24, and FC 24 deserve the full price because it is a full game with tons of modes to play and tons of licenses and tons of content that's updated on a weekly basis. Honestly, people who are defending eFootball, deserve to be playing this garbage.

eFootball is frozen in time. It needs a complete rebuild. Rip out the root and stem. Start from scratch. I find it unplayable.

I had FIFA2024 installed. The amount of "gliding" in this game has just reached EPIC level. I feel 0 (Z E R O) connection with selected player. The best I can do to describe this feeling is as "Sliding". Common, the game is terrible, it has
all the bells and whistles to try to cover the fact that it's most important part, gameplay simply sucks. Most probably developers of this game were watching figure skating while getting ideas about how to develop it. Most probably that is the reason why it reminds me so much of a bloody figure skating 😁😁😁
To me graphics, atmosphere and all that crap do not matter if gameplay sucks. I know eFootball is far from perfect, but to say that this piece of crap is better than eFootball simply put is a sacrilege. 😮😮😮
Both are crap, ea fc gameplay is terrible, players look as though they are gliding along the pitch, doesnt feel like a football game when playing it. Ea need to change their engine. As for efootball what a s**t show. Gameplay is ok but not having have the clubs in the game, no editing and and graphics are poor. Cant even change how many minutes (apart from two options) a game will last offline is shocking. The sooner 2k bring a game out the better.
I turned my back on FIFA in 2010 after playing both it and PES from 2002 when games started becoming too expensive to justify buying both. I hated FIFA, only got PES all the way up to 2021. I play EAFC now for career mode and have been having fun playing the EUROS, so sad.
Game play on efootball is shit

EA FC just needs to swap out the animations for eFootball and you would have literally no reason to ever consider eFootball anymore.
EA FC absolutely trounces the game in literally every other department except the awful player animations, still look like they're skating on the pitch.
