We are taking you back to the era of “Iqbaludin Sahar”, the man well renowned for talking sweet just like Ahmad Faraz described “Bolay to baton say Phool jarhtay hain”. Iqbaludin Sahar needs no introduction, he hails from Shoghore, now settled in Balach and his ancestors are from a well-known and respectable family of Ghizer Gilgit Baltistan. During his life time he has composed 400 songs and most of them are super hits, and a rich part of Chitral music library.
The Mashup comprises three melodious tunes which are written, composed, and sang by Iqbal Uddin Sahar himself. “Ay Dilbar e Dildar” has been composed in Goldure in the late 80’s surrounded by the company of his friends. “Shireen Anwazo Gaan” is a beautiful production during the same era at Jang Bazar. These two songs have been produced spontaneously in a friend’s circle and it is the God-gifted quality bestowed upon him from the Heavens. “ Tamasha mo ko ma taqdeero sora” is a beautifully sung and composed ode produced by Iqbal uddin Sahar for his life partner. This piece has been composed at Ayun and it was released in the late 80’s.
