Three comments😂when u tube blocking for metalia 😊
I know Phil... it's painful. I've felt this way since Load. 😂
I haven't listened to anything past death magnetic. Now only have time for kill em All up to the black album. Is this a joke.
I hope so. Oh hey Phil 🤟
If you liked Death Magnetic, you should give a try to the EP called Beyond Magnetic, that they released just after Lulu (in order to get forgiven by the fans). It's made of 4 titles that didn't made it to the DM album in 2008 and it's awesome. Everyone in 2011 was just too focused on that 1 week Lou Reed /Metallica project and didn't even checked that killer EP...
Agreed it was worse then saint anger horrible
I actually like Lulu (even if it's not a Metallica album, but a collaborative project).
St Anger is by far the worst Metallica album, and they purposely made it sound horrible.
Lulu is not Metallica, it's just Metallica featuring on a Lou Reed album, and the average Metallica fan had no chance to even appreciate this style so far away from what they usually listen...
Than* not then. Please learn the difference.
@@MoreAwsomeMetal I actually like the St. Anger album, I don't think any of the albums are bad
@@CliffBurtonhatesHazbinHotel St.Anger has some good songs, especially The Unnamed Feeling and Sweet Amber, as well as St.Anger itself. It also has some songs that are perfectible and if it weren't for some flaws, would be very good, such as Invisible Kid, Some Kid of Monster and All Within My Hand (which has been rectified btw in its live version).
As for the rest of the album, I'll divide the remaining songs into 2 categories: the ones where I kind of see where they were going but am still scratching my head on the overall end product (Frantic and Dirty Window), and those on which I have absolutely no clue at all on what they were trying to do (My World, Shoot Me Again, Purify).
This is why I'm saying it's their worst album: there are no other album (including Lulu) where there is half of the songs that leaves me confused like that, even 20 years after their release (which means I had time to digest those songs). And no matter what, there will always be an overall production issue with this album: the drums are unbearable to listen, the sound is crude and gives no other impression that they botched the whole thing up...
But I do agree with when you say there are no bad album: St.Anger had some pretty good ideas in it. It's just that the band was such in a bad shape (and on the verge of disbanding) that it reflects on the overall production.
It's not a terrible album, but it is for me the worst they made.
@@MoreAwsomeMetal I understand that, and I completely respect ur opinion, it was a pretty good one too, i do like the drums, and if you dont thats fine, yk ppl can say what they gotta say yk
I stopped listening to Metallica after their comeback in ‘96. They were never the same after the Black album. I think there might be 1 song they’ve made since the Black album that I actually like… maybe these have been clones all along.
The first 5 albums allowed them to make Horrible shitty music for 30+ yrs
Y megadeth sigue siendo grande...
😅😅 when i was trying to sale my copy to music store the seller told me you will give me the album and also the money that is cost i will don't take it 😄😄😄
Well lou reed was on it
Just looked it up. WTF.🧐
I thought the same the first time I listened it, couldn't even finish the album (which is very long btw).
I tried it again several times afterward, just listening to some specific songs in loop for 2 or 3 times in a row, and I finally got it... It's actually good (even if 2 or 3 songs are very weird here and there), it's just not a Metallica album and it's just not an album directed towards a Metallica fan.
It's just an UFO from outside of the Metallica galaxy, there was no chance it could be appreciate by the fans.
Call me someone with poor tastes, (I'm deep in to Heavy Metal music though, I listen to hundreds of bands in very various styles), but Lulu is actually a great album. It's just nothing like anything Metallica or Thrash Metal ever made so far... (and that's why almost no Metallica fan could just get into this...)
😅😅😅
Do the Phil reacts to Metallica feat. Ja Rule - We did it again. Possibly the worst song of any genre ever, lol.
I never understood the allure of Lou Reed. And Metallica became a moth to that lame flame. 🤮
Can't stand em since the black album. The whole "we've always been alternative" smh go away sell outs
🤮🤮😁🤮
