I’m worried about Jamal’s knee. He didn’t look anywhere near himself. He’s smart enough to know he needs to go up for a dunk instead of a layup with Lebron on him but he didn’t try. Just lazy overall basketball by Denver.

100% agree. It was a bad shooting night for the Nuggets. Jammal seems to be in a slump. Gordon wasnt even a factor, Porter struggled with the 3 in the first quarter. .. In the end, the Nuggets just had a bad night. Lets see how they adjust next game.

nuggets have been starting every game this series with too much complacency. they have been relying strictly on talent and personnel in the first half while letting the lakers gain 10+ point leads. there's no reason they should lose to this lakers team, and in reality they should beat this team by 10+ every time they play.
I saw zero urgency from the Nuggets in the first half.

It's a 7 game series. This was a good wake up call for the Nuggets. Obviously they can't skeepwalk to a victory. Regardless, they still have a 3 - 1 lead going back to Denver. They aren't the defending champs by fluke. Not sweeping isn't the end of the world. Adjusting and ending it at home Monday night would still be very satisfying. Let's hope that they come out like gangbusters. Just listening to the players and their coach reminds me of how accountable, mature, and professional they are. No blame, or excuses. Humility and accountability instead.

Nuggets played terrible and I think the worst they can play in this entire series. Every single match they start by throwing brick after brick and there is a good reason why Lakers were taking a lead in all matches because Lakers would go to paint and use Davis to score while Nuggets would be warming up by throwing brick after brick.
I don't understand why Malone and the coaching staff didn't do anything about it and forbid that clown show at the start of matches and telling them to go to paint no matter what and start pressing Lakers into foul trouble from the first minute of the match because throwing brick after brick clearly didn't work.
What's even worse is that Minnesota is even a tougher opponent defensively and if Nuggets beat the Lakers in same fashion and continue to play the same way, Minnesota will win the series 3:1, because there's no way to beat Minnesota with horseshit playing they did with Lakers who are far worse team than Minnesota.

I know Murray does need to play better, but the glaring problem for me is the f*cling bench! Ive seen so many missed open shots from Jackson, Braun, Holiday, and Watson it is f*cking frustratinng! I still have faith in Watson, but Braun looks like he hasnt improved at all since last season, and i dont want to see Jackson or Holiday getting minutes next season. None of them are playing like champions, and i dont think we can repeat with this bench.

The Nuggets looks exhausted from the beginning of this game. The Lakers fought with their backs to the wall. I expected the Lakers to win at least one game, perhaps the 2nd or 3rd. Did not expect it in the fourth. My money is on the Nuggets.
