Seeing will hit 106 with the icon then rewatching adley hit 112 with his wood victus in march just drives home how adley and other pros are phenomenal talents. Wow 112 with the bonesaber!
It really is crazy! His PR with the hype fire, one of the hottest bats of all time is 120. Ronald Acuna Jr. hit the ball 121 with wood! Sometimes fans forget how much worse wood bats are and how good MLB players really are!

You should do a top 10 tournament, where you take the top 10 bats in the rankings and put them up against each other. Basically like Bat Madness but not separate between one-piece and two-piece. It would look something like this

Bought my son the Hybrid (USA model) earlier today. He's excited to have something less common than a Marucci, has the right attributes and LOOKS GOOD. And for me, the cost, yes please. You are definitely steering the market on opinions, ALL the companies must be on your heels to get great product reports on your channel.

This was an amazing review, and Loving these comparisons. Bonesaber Hybrid is a really good bat, especially if you compare its price with the icon. Im planning on getting a Select PWR for myself because of the barrel but the Bonesaber is still very tempting.
I personally have the bonesaber hybrid and it's the best bat I've ever swung, the select pwr is a great bat aswell

Because of your stellar reviews I got an Atlas, but after it being broken I am being cautious. It is by FAR the hottest bat I've ever hit with. I went from hardly making it to the fence with my 2021 Meta to home runs in practice with the Atlas. I hope and pray it doesn't brake on me. Keep it up bat bros!

First off have to say thank you for giving this comparison a chance. Secondly adding the sit down review at the end to compare everything including price for a more budget prospective. That is one of the best videos yall have ever done. Confirming what I’ve known since my sophomore first picked this bat up this past school year and hit his first homerun since he was 11. So many instances where he drove balls with this bat that shocked me this year. He’s hooked and I don’t see him swinging anything else his junior and senior seasons. Bonesaber Hybrid is 👑

I bought an Icon directly from Rawlings' own website last month. They were sold out, then restocked, so I would assume it would be new stock. Les than a month's use, and the cap came off. Their issue is not resolved.
I don’t even play since I’m almost 30, but as you mentioned on the podcast I’m a nerd for bats so love watching these tests and wish you guys were around when I played!

@baseballbatbros I saw there were issues when the ICON first came out with endcap, but have not heard anything about it since they made the fix. The Bonesaber has developed a rattle a few times- ultimately, all of these high performing bats are going to break at some point. There is no getting around that.
You have review the new Rawlings CLOUT, I promise you it is going to be the top rated bat out there! The Rawlings/Easton rep came out to Stonybrook campus 2 weeks ago with Mad Max and the CLOUT is crazy! The Easton ROPE is every bit as hot as the ICON from a composite standpoint as well! I’m an incoming freshman and used the ATLAS for my high school season, and Mad Max had us choose our weapons at the end of the video, and the ATLAS wound up being number 4.

You guys (admittedly) gave the Icon more swings because you thought there was no way that cheaper lesser known bat was going to match up so well and maybe even exceed. At the end of the day, it did. Would be interesting to see if one company’s 243 maple or same type of model, wood type and length have hotter wood then others. Like victus, dovetail, marruci etc

I have this bat called the Combat Backbone, its a Wood Composite BBCOR that got discontinued. Its profile is still on just bats but you cant buy it and you cant really find any on offer up or ebay, i think a video on it would be dope
I personally have been using the marruci cat x for a while now and I’ve gotten used to it being light but I’ve been thinking that I want to get the warstic hybrid but I don’t know if the weight difference is a lot so anybody’s opinions would be great.

Can you do some bat testing with the top bbcor bats but with 14 or 15 year olds swinging. Exit velos in the 80mph area. The bats are going to get completely different results with a slower swing of a younger player. This would help me and my son(14) and many more I'm sure when making bat decisions. What can I say will you just hit the ball to hard. Ha ha ......love the channel been watching yall since the beginning. Thanks for all you do

You were both absolutely crushing the ball here. You’re obviously getting stronger and nearing your prime so the exit velo’s are going to increase over the next year or two.

I hit really well with an atlas but I tried to swing an icon in game and I just didn’t hit good with it. Batting .470 in 14u majors baseball with atlas. Gave icon about 12 at bats and only got a couple hits. Do you think the bonesaber would be better for me than the icon.

Crazy thing is I've watched this video 3 times now! I have the bonesaber hybrid and the goods, it's just not close in swing weight, I think there is debate possibly even for 11 power breaking the chart. The chart is good. 24 is fantastic only 2 bats have the score. But the bonesaber I feel like yall could even debate 11 power breaking the scale. Like how many bats are yall sitting 103-105 mph exit velo with. Hitting a 112 mph exit velo is crazy. Like the goods, yall sit like 100-101, but it's hard to find that one spot like the bonesaber hybrid has that is just super hot.
Is the handle something people have to adjust to yes. But wow both bats are fantastic. The icon and the bonesaber hybrid. New bats are about to drop for the new companies so it's gonna be very interesting to see where the new voodoo one, new the goods, new bats for all companies sit. I think louisville needs to find a way to make the select power a little hotter. And still keep its sweet spot and swing weight.

How balanced is the BoneSaber Hybrid compared to bats like the Atlas and Voodoo 1?
@jasondavenport9681 the bonesaber hybrid is pretty balance all the way across the board. The voodoo one and atlas are gonna be lighter then the bonesaber just because that's how they're designed. The bonesaber hybrid is just very well balanced, the handle helps you whip it really well. Like when the bat bros are really talking about the handle, it really makes it easier to swing. It's just an adjustment thing at first.

My son has used a 32 Atlas for the last year. Just got a 33 Bonesaber Hybrid and he feels the Bonesaber is lighter. I myself held each and the Bonesaber does feel lighter. Kinda weird. Will see how it performs tomorrow in a DH.

Hey bat Bros! I was wanting to know what size to get for the bone saber I swing a 32/29 but i need a 33/30 and I’ve heard that because of the handle it adds some length when holding it. So which size do I get!-ps I love your videos I always watch your new videos! Thanks bat bros
Personally I feel like the Bonesaber hybrid feels shorter due to the tapered knob. A few of my players who swing 32s didn’t seem to notice the length difference between their 32 Goods 2 piece and the 33 Bonesaber I got for the team. I think you’ll be fine with the 33/30 Bonesaber and it won’t seem like a big adjustment for you. Just my opinion though.
Ok guys. I’ll lay out the variables and let me know what you think.
Kid’s going to be a sophomore. He is still growing. Please don’t be an ass about the weight. Besides he has a cannon of an arm so… He’s 6’2 with a 6’6 wingspan. Hands measure 9.5 inches from thumb to pinky. He is only 140 pounds. Working on that currently. His swing is getting a lot better. I’m only 5’11 but weigh 220. I can swing his 33/30 Rawlings Icon but it feels just a bit heavy. He says it’s ok. No game use yet. I’m considering getting the bone saber hybrid after this review because you guys said it just feels easier to swing. He’s always been better with evenly weighted bats but his swing mechanics weren’t as good as they are now.
What I was thinking about was the forgiveness of the icon. In the past he was casting a bit and catching the ball near the handle. He’s getting better after work but that lack of good muscle memory still creeps in. So I was thinking icon for that reason. Also, some coaches will tell You to choke up and protect if your behind in the count. If you get shorter on the swing and catch the handle the icon again seems like a winner for tht reason alone but he’s great with a more balanced bat. Is the bone saber hybrid forgiving enough if you catch it towards the handle? You did say a less refined batter might use the icon more. Idk. Why do you guys think? Hell maybe I’ll get them both! 😂😂😂😂 just playing. Not a chance.
Forgot to add, he’s swinging the 33/30 should he creep up to the 34/31? How big of a difference was the swing weight?
