I learned more from this video than I did in 12 years of public school. 😂
That’s public school for you😅
Ejuhmicated
This comments is so funny lmaooo 🤣🤣
Seriously. All these years and its only now I learn 50+200=0.
@@iPervy yeah, you got to go to college for that kind of maths.
After 30 years of shooting I know most of this already, but he presents it fast and acquirable. Great teacher!
Pretentious and attention seeking ain’t it. Could have just said he presented the information well and not arbitrarily patted yourself on the back. Weird.
@@thomasmarchese2808Not to mention, things like offset dots, LPVO's, and the SPR concept wasn't really around 30 years ago but he already knew most of it lol
The 550 cord bipod hack is CLUTCH MONEY! Worth the price of admission right there.
No matter how much you think you know, a video like this can teach you a couple more things
Or people like me who don’t know shit about shooting the AR, we learn a ton
then you hear him say the say system is whatever...

The most information dense 28 minutes on the internet - no fat, all meat - great stuff!
Thank you Jim and Big Tex. Never heard these topics broken down so clearly and demonstrated. Can’t wait for Part 2.

@@jimmybrodriguez Haha, but seriously hmu if I can help. Thanks for the good vibes and for always taking us along to these awesome classes and events.
I put an accupoint 3x9 with triangle reticle. Plan todo a mpbr zero on it, but possibly shouldn’t have bought that reticle. On the other side i think it will fit the gun well.
This guy is no joke you best listen up and pay attention. A excellent instructor period.
Been shooting for a long ass time and never seen that trick of shining light through the objective lens. Going to keep that in my bag of tricks. Nice work gents.
Old school technique. Also used for checking plumb (hang a plumb bob/weighted string on the wall and project the light through, the shadow from the reticle should align with the plumb bob).
Would love to see more of his line 1 setup
Maybe we can make that happen in the future
@@jimmybrodriguez That would be awesome. Everyone says a DM is a good thing to have in the squad but no one to my knowledge has listed the kit for one.
@@jonwebsterabbott I agree with you 100%, would love to see the whole kit
I learned so much and confirmed what I thought in my recent SPR build. Thank you for much for this. Definitely looking forward to the next video.
Extremely useful video, thank you. Definitely the best and most concise rundown on an SPR setup that I've seen yet.
I have listen to many video's regarding setting up a Rifle. You have made it so easy and simple to understand. Thank You
Alex killing the breakdown and representing NH
This is outstanding, cannot wait for the second episode!!!
Damn it man. Another dope instructor that I need to take a class film added to the list.
Yes would highly recommend. I’m going to try to get out to a couple more of his courses
The Ranch. Love that place. That tower is one of the best long range set ups I’ve shot from out to 1000yrds. He was talking fast but was easy to follow. Ton of good info
This MAN speaking clearly has a compendium of knowledge on an SPR. You can hear it in his voice and he just keeps flowing. I would have been pausing him every 30 seconds jotting down whatever I could remember and he'd already be steps ahead.
This dude is the most true world knowledge, no BS I have ever seen. Amazing instructions
Videos like this would show the little you know about the entire spectrum. Humbles you.
Such a wealth of knowledge both instructors are.
This dude is a vast wealth of knowledge. Thanks for sharing!
Ridgeline instructors are phenomenal. Like drinking from a firehose every time I go to their facility but so much fun and they make shooters.
Good intel and great commentary in one solid video. The instructor seems very phenomenal.
I've taken classes all over Texas, and Alex came down for a one-day class for TTPOA. Hands down one of the best classes and instructors I have come across.
Digging these informative SPR series videos. Super helpful and answered a lot of my own questions. Thanks for doing them 👍
A complete long range 1 class, in less than 30 minutes. Nice! Great knowledge transfer
Medium range.
He is spitting great tip after great tip without skipping a beat. Impressive instructor. Thanks for sharing!
WoW. Drinking from the Firehose here. Will be playing a few more times AND Taking Notes. And saving for the class. Thank You for the material here.
Amazing instructor- excellent delivery
This was an amazing and informative video! For sure adding this class to the list.
This dude is awesome. This is amazing knowledge. So thank you!
Yup Alex and Jared were great
Very informative and awesome instructor. Cant wait for pt 2
Alex and the rest of the instructors out at Ridgeline are amazing instructors with a ton of experience.
Definitely recommend yall go out there and train if you can.
Do you know what scope and bipod they use?
Wow… I need to train here! So detailed and taught in he best way.
This video convinced me to attend a class at Ridgeline with him as an instructor.
This vid is the gold standard of it's category/topic
He seems like a very knowledgeable and solid dude.
This guy is an amazing teacher.
Big thank you for sharing this great video!! It was very informative in SPR setup and what not do!
Great content 👍 so much info to digest but relayed in a way that is palatable
One of the best you’ve done to date.
🤘🏼🙌🏻
This dude knows his shit and presents it well and quickly. Bravo.
And suddenly Ridgeline's Scoped Carbine is #1 on my list for 2023!
This is sooo excelent. Thanks for posting!
Came on autoplay, and this is the most infantryman style info dump I've heard in a while 😁 Stayed even though I'm not a SPR guy
Good lord. Dude is killing it.
Very excellent. I know a fair amount but still learned a few things. I love to attend one of his courses.
That was amazing. Thank you!!
Wow! Great that was freaking Good! Thanks Big Tex and Juanito for the video, Great Instructor! When he coming to Texas Again!!!
Holy crap! That was a TON of great information!
Great vid! More like this, please!
I’ve got more stuff in the works
Dang bro, this is gold. Thank you for sharing.
Alex is such a chill dude.
This video is straight info, no fluff!
The parallax trick is super cool!
This is a great video can't wait for the next Parts I wish there was a transcript because he talks so fast and I know he's dropping some great information.
Incredible knowledge
Alex had a ton of good info. Looking forward to taking more classes from him
Holy shit, talk about going back to school for things I thought I knew. Thanks for sharing that. Really insightful, God bless our marines thank goodness they are on our side!
Wow - great rundown!
“I looked right, I looked left…I could not find a VTAC barricade.” 😂
awesome Info, thank you!
Outstanding video THANKS learn and refresh a lot stuff
Love those Dallas hats, ordered one when I visited home and seen a guy with one. Most colors were sold out
So much information... THANK YOU
Thank you. That was awesome.
dude, super interesting about using eye relief and scope shadow to swag parallax in lieu of an external adjustment.
“As I was…” haven’t heard that in a while; good stuff
I'm gonna have to take a class with these guys.
So I have been doing trigger finger placement properly my whole life! Nice.
This is bad ass training. So much here , ill watch this 10 times so I sont miss anything.
Great Detail Thank You 🙏🏼
Unbelievable video. I’ve taken 2 day classes that passed on less info
Great video and a ton of information
This guy knows his stuff.
This video is so informative
This is the best video on your channel
This guy just took me to school. Great video!
I have taken a bunch of classes with Alex at ridgeline there facility is amazing.
I gotta get out and check it out. From what he says it’s the bees knees
@@jimmybrodriguez Every time I’m there (4-timer) they have made more improvements in order to achieve Alex & Rudy’s vision. Truly a world-class facility.
can’t wait to get out there
Great video once again, really liked the paracord technique for speed trying to slow the video down so I can see how he actually rigged it. 😂
Nice lecture!! Thank you!
Deep in the eyebox.. less parallax error, from observable concentricity 🤫 gotcha... great video 🤌thx
Yes, great advice!
Daum, drinking from a fire hose but we'll worth it. Thank you for posting this, it's priceless info.
A lot of good informaiton in this one, thanks!
I’ve listened twice and I don’t think Alex wasted a single word in his presentation.
Omg this guy is a fountain of knowledge, I will be seeking him out in the near future for training. Thank you Jim.
Endplate and first rail section best sling option for maneuverability
There is a wealth of information here.
Great video
I thought i knew what i wanted to do with my rifle but now i need to rewatch this with a notebook 😂. great information
As an old man, hearing this makes me all nostalgic for Lejeune's DCSC classes. Good times, good days.
Wishing civilian life was as focused and ordered.
Solid Gold info!
Good shit, lots of knowledge here.
I wanna do a class like this one day :)
All the paralax srtuff needs to be talked about more love it
Geeeezzzz that was a lot of useful info in a short video.
fantastic instructor. teach me more.
That’s amazing !!!
Thanks for sharing
SPR’s ARE SO BACK
Interesting to hear that low mounts have uses still when everyone is going to tall mounts.
It’s hard to shoot distance from prone with a 1.93”
It’s not hard just not as comfortable, and sometimes may loose the reticle with fast strings of fire
Basically a SPR (Special Purpose Rifle) can be any rifle that fits the environment or the needs of that environment whether urban, rural, jungle, desert, forest, or whatever
