It's the rare survival horror game where you think things would be better off if the protagonist is killed by the first monster he sees. Also, we love to see Gianni get work.

I love how the ending doesn't end with a bad ending. Just the main protagonist knowing that his quest is far from over. That's awesome for a man who only has an arm and a parasite within him.
For certain, I wonder what the next game will be like.

Manually reloading is so stressful. I always felt like giving the protagonist a weapon made horror cames feel too safe but I feel like this takes a step towards fixing that issue
According to the dev log he made weapons that suck to make you really on edge with the sastifaction pay off for it when killing something
It also makes sense story wise. Dude's only got one arm! Makes sense that reloading, aiming and moving would need to be managed, along with inventory!

I am going through your vids from three years back where they have few comments and on average 300-1000 views, and I just wanted to tell you I am happy for you that you made it big and got the recognition you deserve after all these years. I wonder what happened some three years ago that caused this surge of subs. I learned of your channel from Tumblr, the gifs from these games were a cool feature. Perfect for getting people excited without exerting their choice-making capacity by having them make the decision to click links where they know next to nothing about the game.
Thank you very much! Wow, was it only three years ago? Yeah I have no idea why the mighty CZcams algorithm deemed me worthy but I'm very grateful. I expect the further back in the videos you go the rougher they'll get as in the early days I just uploaded rough gameplay footage that I'd recorded while playing games that I was planning on writing an article on. I'd never really thought it would be very popular, just thought people might find it interesting/helpful in informing their decisions on whether they'd like to play the games. I bet a lot of those games aren't even available anymore!

@@AlphaBetaGamer Roughly three years. Could be earlier, but it was at this time I noticed it. Yeah I noticed the cursor gestures stopped at some point, but I don't complain, there are a lot of unintentional funny mishaps like sliding off moving platforms into chasms. As said in our earlier convo, sometimes the best things are a result of happy accidents and last minute deviations from the concept. I can think of a few aspects: people watching vids all the way through, watching multiple in a raw, lots of engagement in the comments, non-botted views like in a lot of cases of super popular frontpage CZcamsrs (hence the change to stopping the view count at around 300 views for a while). Also regular uploads, which builds engagement and gests people to check back often.
As for revenue you probably thought of a Patreon account. If not maybe it is an idea? If that's okay with their policy of course.

The minimalist art style and crunchy sound design combined with a no frills storyline make this already a scifi horror classic. One-armed Space Herbert West dealing with either a crazy person or a genuine bug messiah, and there is evidence for both possibilities.
Great characterization, a good West type character who you can applaud and be impressed at his success, but also wish got what was coming to him. A flawed character making things worse because of their flaws, instead of feeling railroaded because of their plot stupidity? Refreshing! The fact we're seeing things through the eyes of a crazy determined, parasite addled, and blood loss also puts what we see an hear into question.
i hope for a midquel of another one armed survivor trying to escape, ends up needing to work with Cynte to pull two simultaneous switches, then being left behind to die by Cynte who goes on to the true sequel.

If ABG was a protagonist, it wouldn't be a very long game.
It's the 'I beat the Displacer beast' dance that ABG does near the end that sells this entire game.

It's a genuinely terrifying survival horror game set in a maze with stealthy monsters. This game is fairly obscure, but as I said, it's really scary and pretty hard too, I think it would suit your channel pretty well

The game defo seems to have gotten major boosts in popularity since Markiplier covered it, which I am glad it has because the game has been criminally underrated for past few months. Its graphic are simplistic, what gives the ambience is the sounds and gameplay. Interesting game.
This is an amazing concept, but i really wish the games spoken dialogue was text instead of voice acting, or if the main character was a silent protagonist. Or just, yknow, make him sound completely traumatized. Its pretty unbelievable that a man who had his limbs violently ripped off and forced to burn himself to cauterize the wounds would have any semblance of coherent speech afterwards.
I wanted to see gameplay for this game so I came here first.
