5:34 More control on the screen brightness is useful we can dim our screen a lot more. 10:08 That is a great charge time. 12:37 This is great ecosystem to be able to connect tablet and phone together. 13:21 Ebook mode is excellent for reading books for long hours. 18:12 A Bluetooth speaker 🔊 is a must-have device especially if you would be typing a lot.

@@akshimamalhotra4556 if you can work without the S pen, honor pad 9 the best. Besides, the tab comes with the keyboard.. M loving it. By the way, u should consul other experts too.
@@akshimamalhotra4556 I think if u r comfortable without the s pen, this one is better. Further, the memory 8/256 gb and additional keyboard is another advantage. N Honor is much more reliable thn xiaomi.

Has the Honor pad 9 Wifi 6?
Seems like a pretty decent device, but the pricing here in the UK seems kind of crazy. Baring in mind it is running a Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 which is a pretty mid/low end cpu, they are pricing this at £300 which is the current price of the Xiaomi pad 6 here. Then obviously when you consider the price of imported lenovo tablets from Aliexpress etc it seems even worse. If it had been around £200 it may have been worth a look but as it is can't really be justificed sadly.
Yeah it's bonkers how expensive it is for what it delivers. Especially when they have the x9 which is actually a great value tablet!
Better to wait until it goes on sale for £200
this is certainly the fake launch price they had to put in order to make all their pre order bonuses for the magic 6 pro appealing

Personally, I would love to see Honor releasing tablets with upper mid-range chipsets such as Dimensity 8200 & SD 7 Gen 3/7+ Gen 3 (both WiFi & 5G variants) to compete with Galaxy Tab S9 FE series.
The Honor China website shows it as having pen support, they make quite a big deal of it. Maybe the pen just isn't available in Europe yet?
Not sure but not my version at least it seems this European version doesn't have the stylus. Other markets will.

Honor does not update their tablets. Android 13 is the only version it will get, besides some security patches.

Please ask Honor why they don't have active stylus support here, having a nice keyboard for this tablet...! or Is it coming in future, for some other model..
Doesn't seem it will be coming with the stylus ever and I think they might have a more premium OLED tablet coming Q2-Q3 that will have the stylus support for those that need it.

Pad 9 does support stylus, but only the honor choice pen.
It does support a stylus. In fact here in the UK it comes as standard with a stylus in most places.

Another excellent review. Hope we're gonna see you review the Minisforum V3 when it comes out, a proper Windows tablet with AMD 8840u CPU. Could be the best tablet ever made, based on the specs alone that is.
If they send it yes but it's likely only ETA prime gets it first and me weeks later if I do it's so he can make an advertisement of it first for sales.
I was also eyeing that one, but I am a little dubious on how does minisforum lock their bios or tune their chips

I was expecting a lower price, for an entry level, but ok. BTW it can use Honor Magic-Pencil 3. I've seen it somewhere else. It would have been a shame if the tablet had not been capable of using a pen. Under 300€ would be ver good.

China Version has display in paper like finish, blocking 98 % of glare, with pen support, i don't understand why didn't they use the same panel
Unless it cannot produce its own pencil like from Xiaomi Tabs, this will be ignored by the "creative' people like graphic designers
That pen was a complete rip off at 100€. And split screen still doesn't work on my Xiaomi pad 5. The performance is good but damn, the software support is just atrocious.
Huawei, Honor and Oppo stylus work with each other though I wished they just ripped off the likes of the bamboo ink.
The first two is obvious and Huawei-Oppo interoperability is due to both agreeing to share patents with certain techs.

The display has pretty severe color shifting, looked a bit like those ole TN displays, the colors are great, but the color shifting is bad, it shifts color very soon. I returned it

This tablet would amazing and a no brainer if it was cheaper like for example 200-250euro. I see on Amazon Spain that Honor Pad 9 8/256 is at 400euro(amazon seller). Thats very expensive for this tablets specs.
No wonder Apple continues to dominate the tablet market. Their 2021 Ipad, is very strong even in 2024. Xiaomi pad 6 is the only decent Ipad alternative.
The bad pricing of course is Honors fault. Chris review is spot on on this tablets capabilities.

Wow, i compared Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 with Snapdragon 855, almost similar stats, why do i feel like Qualcomm took 855 and made it 4nm from 7nm and name it 6 gen 1

Still very good the Pad 6 yes, but this is better once the global version is okay that is.
Its a sister company of Huawei, which is banned in many countries for providing user data to Chinese Govt. So be cautious while buying it.
