I disagree. It's the fact he can't always control the Hulk. Because in Infiniry war, Stak asked "do you want a piece"? And Banner said the same thing to Stark and SUDDENLY he can't get Hulk to come out. It's a lead up to Smart Hulk during the blip. Plus Banner & window talk about the "no kids" from her end.
This one i knew from the moment when 1st saw it. I understood this scene without getting any second thoughts or confusion, i was a child at that moment but even so i got it right 😅
Until he became "Smart Hulk" he couldn't not because the Hulk made him infertile, but because he couldn't always control the Hulk. Think about it, intercourse gets a lot of neurotransmitters like Dopamine and Epinephrine/adrenaline flowing through the body. Considering that the Hulk is tied to Banners rage, we can assume that biologically speaking his transformation is controlled by adrenaline, which is also why Bruce can control when he does and doesn't transform most of the time, he can hold back the adrenaline to stay as Bruce Banner or let it flow to become The Hulk. The issue, I think, is that during intercourse the excess of Adrenaline is too much for Bruce to hold back, posing a risk to his partner considering the Hulks tendency to smash anything that causes Banners rage/adrenaline rush.
The issue isn't infertility, it's a risk to their partner if they lose control. The body's reaction to sexual stimulation is so similar to a fight or flight response in that they both cause the body to release a common hormone, Adrenaline, which can be seen as a trigger for the Hulk transformation. Either that or Bruce found a way to cure his gamma-induced infertility
bruno1 You should get more creative of Marvel content after Endgame, there is a whole other universe of ester eggs to discover, don't just stay in Stan Lee's 2010's superhero decade.
