Dimash is not of this world. He can sing pop, rap, ballad, classical. He does his own arrangement and style. He is truly the best singer in the world. He has a gift from God.
As someone who speaks french, his version of Sos d'un terrien en détresse made me cry the first time I heard it. Must be the best version I've ever heard.

SOS and Opera 2 got the first place in competition, then there's his Adagio performance got the first place too, you should see that too, he used his baritone voice in that song.
And don't forget about his Diva Dance (from fifth element movie, that lady in blue), his highnote is crazy even his vocal control. Thanks a lot for the reaction.

Currently his range (so far from a multitude of his live international performances) is six octaves from F2 to a sustained D8
S.O.S. was actually the first performance for the China competition's new season of The Singer 2017 [which was why the crowd was excited for it to start at the beginning] -- but what is often overlooked is that he was pretty much a complete unknown to that audience [he's from Kazakhstan and doesn't speak any Chinese] , and least expected or anticipated to do much since he was pretty much unknown to the audience [which is why he was placed to go first -- the most anticipated singers were set to perform last on that episode].
This was the first time the China audience and other performers in the back room on the show heard him sing. Between his first performance ["S.O.S." in French] and his 2nd performance [Vita's "Opera 2" in Russian], he quickly won their hearts completely.

I agree with what you are saying but just to note: because the D8 is a part of his whistle register, it isn’t considered a part of his range. In reality it’s roughly 4 octaves give or take a few notes.
Not positive about this Bill (it's floating somewhere in the back of my brain) but I'm pretty sure I read that Dimash has taken his voice to a sustained F8

Dimash is a young 23 year old singer from Kazakhstan.His musical and vocal data are phenomenal! Today he has the largest band in the world 6 octaves and 1 note (this together with a whistle register) and 5 working octaves. And this is not the limit, as it has very flexible and long bundles from nature and besides they are perfectly developed from the age of 5. He has an academic singing school, now he is a third-year student in variety singing. He is fluent in all available vocal techniques, in including Bel Kanto! He has a great mastery of breathing techniques. Now he creates a new direction in music.

Вот нравится мне смотреть реакции корейцев, они такие эмоциональные и внимательные. Really enjoyed your reaction to Dimash guys! Been hoping you would get to him eventually. He does so many unique things...most everytime he performs you see him display talents you didn't know he had......he sings in multiple languages even though he primarily speak in two.....he plays a number of different instruments. BTW the audience was judge for this show, so yeah he had to charm them with both his singing and stage presence ☺☺ and he did absolutly well with both! he got the first place for those two songs and he ended up 2nd at the end of the show😊
