You have all been suggesting and commenting for a while that me and Brakeless Ben swap bikes and he rides my MTB dirt jump bike whilst I try out the BMX again at my slopestyle compound. So we finally made it happen, and it was so fun. A proper progression session for both of us! I loved how the BMX made it easier to unlock tricks that I haven't done for ages, and I'm super keen to attempt the 1080 again as well as triple tailwhips. Ben also sent it on my jump bike, perhaps last year he missed out on mountain biking whilst riding the backyard trails. Enjoy the tricks, crashes and POV shots.

Matt should do a cheap bike challenge with some other riders (Sam Reynolds, Jono, maybe Pilgrim idk), maybe £100 budget or something, and just set a bunch of challenges for each other, between the compound and/or bike park. Could be interesting

Vid ideas:
1. Hand rails and ramps/features etc. beyond the patio & 1/4 pipe at compound!
2. More track developments at Brink.
3. Stinky comps/challenges with "the lads": jono, deaks, ren, pilg, brendog, odub, bern, etc. at various locations.
4. Build your own "crazy" ebike to have races against people on the stinky.

Ben is such a beast. I think we're all just desensitized because Matt is one of the best in the world, but Ben goes HARD when he wants to.

Just wanted to say that I don't mountain bike at all and I've seen every video you've put out. You and Ben are just entertaining people to watch and you two bring me so much joy!
For some video ideas:
* Worlds Firsts Ludicrous Edition - Worlds first back flip onto an air bag while wearing a wig and having a yo-yo in your pocket
* High jump contest on the airbag but with a twist maybe hang a rubber chicken over the air bag that you have to grab (obviously a Red Bull themed rubber chicken) or high jump but you're not required to land on your bike so you can pull some sweat poll vaulting moves
* Gap challenge - List out all the gaps that you can think of at the compound and hit them all, could even make the quintessential gap list board and put it on the patio so people can add their names as they hit them

Next time Bens on the big rig I noticed he didn’t reset the bars for the back brake after the tail whip.. that would catch him out if he done a few In a row and the bike stops half way round. Much love from team DTE

I've actually been riding a 22" BMX lately and am loving it for freestyle. So easy to control and move the bike around! Sick video as always Matt, keep them coming!
First, the seamless roll into the square space plug is awesome. It feels less forced and it’s more likely to be funny and relevant.
Two, I wholeheartedly agree that the 360 is one of the best all time tricks. The simplicity and the smoothness of a laid back 360 is exciting to see every time it’s done.
Third, my suggestion, assuming covid dies down, why not do a contest where the prize is an invite to the compound for like a 3 day instructional camp on out to jump? I’d sign up for that!
Try ride dual suspension MTB on the compound, also you should revisit the lockdown backyard trails.

I love the Shawshank Redemption. I use to watch it with my grandma a lot! I grew up in a small city where a lot of it was filmed. My friends owned the building that the wardens office scenes were filmed. We use to hang out there all the time.

I think if you end up a woburn i think a 360 or a maybe a backflip off of the largest stepdown, if its running well. maybe seeing a pump track session at the shop or a trails jam on your trails with a few people, id love to see like 5-10 ppl on all the lines and transfers, drone footage of that would be so cool!

Don't know about jump ideas, but Ben definitely needs to get a 26" DJ bike, for sure - fairly certain you've got a frame or two hanging up you could throw some old parts on that would do him.
