Pointing out grammar mistakes, giving sarcastic smirks on incorrect english, reading comments in a funny way.
Honestly if you can’t take feedback gracefully, theres no point of doing this “on the spot” show.
It just makes you look petty.

Agreed. English part is particularly petty since inadequacy in a language doesn't invalidate their opinion. Hassan is particularly appalled by any criticism and resorts to petty remarks or replies. He often says writers don't know their job, or they can't do this or that which should be fine but gets offended when someone does that to him.

You guys need to decide what is the purpose of this program. If you cant take criticism then its better not to do it. Snapping back at anyone who says anything you dont like, being sarcastic and cticising the critic in return is not how you respond to critical questions. You guys should watch some International media to learn how to respond. Maybe read the messages few times before the recording so you respond objectively, not reactively...At the end iof the day these are all your viewers.

With so much love and respect for Amna and Hassan, In a country where English is not first language, where everyone cannot afford to go to good “English” school and where social media has become major source of entertainment. Amna is keep making fun you commenters grammar and spelling. It’s a shame that whenever Amna reads anything negative she immediately starts pointing out at others grammar. All the big celebrities and news anchors are using CZcams because Pakistani awam “95% jahil” are the ones who are watching them and subscribing them. So, be respectful towards them. There are other problems in the word than speaking wrong English. Go to France and no matter how good you are in English they will not even talk to u nicely since you can’t speak French.

My two cents: Don't do this 'on the spot' if all you are going to do is correcting people's spellings and grammar and ask people to start their own channel. I genuinely did not think the comments you read out were rude or demeaning - they sounded quite constructive to me (and a lot of other people here - going by other comments on this video). Either do it and take it on the chin / graciously accept feedback / politely disagree or don't do this type of segment at all. You both sounded very snarky and mean - which is a departure from the people that we see in reviews and have come to love.

I may get blocked after this comment but Just wants to give you my honest view- I am following you since 3 years and i really respect both of you. Since Tere bin Review you got very changed. Earlier you used to give honest opinion and very blunt. But now you seems like doing fan service. As per fan popularity you give your review. There is no hate for any artist but your standard praising artist become very low. You praise Hamza, Dure, Sehar for their mid core acting . Hamza gives same to same expression in all his drama specially in ZPKB he is not doing any extra but Aamna praise him a lot . Sehar is repeating her Fairy tell role in Jafaa she is doing nothing new than her previous role But Aamna never point out her. Dure fishan was very normal in Ishq Murshid but again Hassan bhai keep appreciating her talent. Earlier you used to review very strictly and point out poor performance but now a days you are just doing formalities. You spent huge time on Jaan Nisar but spent very less time in ZPKB. You represent Pakistan. PTV used to make good content but now their more focus on money. My apologies but i do not want to disrespect you . Its just i felt bad to see your change of opinion. How is it when people comment that you guys make a drama and get offended any different from telling the viewers to start their own channel whenever they criticize you guys, particularly Hassan who seems to take this program as a way to rebuff any criticism coming his way? You guys aren't professionals in the world of filmmaking but so aren't the viewer's journalists to justify them making a channel, however, that doesn't take away from them to not criticize. Before you say that you welcome it, it doesn't come across as such. If they do not like what you do and have the liberty to leave, shouldn't viewers who do not like good dramas always be given the same liberty and not be judged for their taste like Hassan had once judged in his review of DNUTN?
Yes, critique scene by scene is unrealistic for an episode of 36 minutes but the users themselves are not far off when they said you guys, particularly Hassan, have swayed away. However, addressing it so immaturely and instead mocking their usage of the word seems like how Hassan still hasn't learnt to address criticism. ZPKB is an example because of how short and generalized that review is. Only Aamna ma'am seems to take it seriously since she does point out nuances like colour pallets and story themes. Hassan gives a superficial review of dramas such as praising actors without detailing what exactly they expressed which Aamna ma'am often does, higlighting nuances which is a sign of a seasoned reviewer, something like Bharadwaj Ranjan or even Bosley Crowther; similarly Hassan equating good direction with good cinematography in one of his reviews of BRKRM was also strange.

Or highlight the imperfections. You guys are very reluctant to take the feedback that your viewers give you. As a Brit I find dozens of grammatical errors with both your English. When will us Pakistanis get over peoples exteriors(looks, way of speaking, status). I mean according to Amna and Hassan you can’t give an opinion without f your English isn’t better than theirs.

Whoever thinks that 'Tere Bin' is a groundbreaking romance drama plot just because the MMC and MFC had a striking chemistry, have never watched Pakistani cliché dramas, nor have they read romance novels or any romantic literature.
As a viewer myself I couldn't digest even the first three episodes of the later 'stretched without any destination' product. They couldn't resist the temptation to air it with unnecessary subplots and tasteless banters to the point where they couldn't finish it, and now is in the talks of producing second season. It was a good production, yes, but nothing groundbreaking. It was average writing at best. Yumna and Wahaj were the added spice to the otherwise bland plot of Tere Bin, nothing else.

Hassan, I disagree with you. Yumna/Wahaj and Dure/Bilal were given the title of it being their year for both Tere Bin and Ishq Murshid respectively. And that’s because like Aamna said there was a greater interest in them outside of their drama. Plus all of them were in top commercials and modelling for top brands. Also, on social media the amount of likes/views/comments were insane. It’s not the same for Hiba or Danish. Look at Yumna winning best popular actor for Bakhtawar instead of Hania who was expected to take it. That shows Yumna’s popularity so you can’t say it wasn’t her year when it was. People were mad for Yumna and Wahaj in real life and still are. Hiba and Danish don’t have the same interest outside of their drama and aren’t doing modelling for top brands or appearing in commercials. Agree with Aamna on her take on why Hiba isn’t being given the title of it being her year.

It is true that we have always pronounced umro ayyar in urdu, and it is fine because words are pronounced differently in different languages. In Arabic, this name is pronounced as amr not umer. There were sahabis of this name like Hazrat amr bin al aas, and if you read the arabic text, their names are written as amr with zabar on ain and wao has nothing on it which means that is silent. However, i think it is fine to pronounce umro in urdu.

Although I usually comment for Aamna Jee! But this one is for Hassan. Alot of conversation on your hair bro, cuz I think you’ve been going for the slightly messy look! Which I think is pretty cool. Dont always have to look picture perfect. You do YOU Hassan!!! 🌟🤩 Sleek gelled up hair are so early 2000s 🙃

Amaro ayyar is correctly pronounced as "Amr Ayyar"...
The word Amr has a "wao" added at the end to distinguish it from the word "Umar", as both are written the same way in Arabic. (عمر / عمرو)
So the correct pronunciation is Amr Ayyar

They are very senior journalists and have great work under their belt. I love that amna and hassan are so candid all the time.
Also i feel amna on the selecting luxury brand. I can only get my size which is XXS (iterating my size only because we small people do face almost the same issues as bigger people...stay body positive ✌🏼) in specific stores or made on order which is expensive. Buying best quality is another problem, because i repeat clothes and want them to stay the same season after season. Therefore we actually do not have a lot of choices here people, tou spend karna parta hai luxury mei..
