I bought 3 of the new 100th tooth ratchets, used the one for a solid like 6 months straight I like my 80 better feels smoother to me feels like it has less back drag but still a solid ratchet
Looks like a good guy, has a good trustworthy demeanor
I still have my flank drive wrenches that I bought 1990. 34 years and are still good as new

Glad he ignore the hater's nothing wrong with someone spending where they want i have a 3/8 100th tooth ratchet few people complaining about back drag i have no problems with mine i enjoy using it
Not trying to be negative, but I bought a 100 tooth as soon as they were available in my area, and I gave it a chance for a while, but I eventually gave up on liking it. I’m like you in that the matco locking flex is my favorite ratchet, so I hoped the thinner head on the 100 would be comparable. Our matco dealer stopped coming by about 2 years ago, so I figured I’d better try out snap on. Long story short, the back drag killed it for me. It was a very smooth, thin, comfortable ratchet, but it barely ever mattered because I’d have to spin most bolts out with my fingers. My dealer understood my complaints and gave me a straight up trade for an fl80. He’s a great guy. I hope you like yours though! It just wasn’t for me

He was actually ordering a list of tools that I had needed replaced. Remember these guys do these videos while working their normal job.
I bought my Snap-On tools between 1978 and 1981. Still have most of them to this day. My Snap-On day was always Tuesday. I love watching your videos. Kevin is still kool.

Glad to see you’ve got another SnapOn dealer. Seems like a good guy with a well stocked truck. We got a new guy a few months ago after going without for about 5 months. Our old rep was a good friend of mine, but he never seemed to have anything on the truck, this new one has a fully stocked truck every week, makes a difference. It's interesting to see a different Snap-on truck. I appreciate the selection my dealer always has. 28ft can van that barely has room to walk through. Bought my newest roll cab just because he had it on the truck and I loved the color combo

On the 100t, our truck hasn't even got them onboard yet. Like Kevin suggested, I'm more interested in the 1/4" for motorcycles and under dash work. I'm still fine with the 80t's overall.

Man those eyes lol. I have a flex head 100 tooth rachet. I used it earlier today for the first time changing a brake caliper. The head is thin similar to a Matco but for me it feels like there are too many teeth for a general purpose rachet. Ideally suited to tighter spaces probably. The back drag is more than the 80 tooth older design however in use I didn’t find it an issue.

Them 100 tooth ratchets are great, but the locking mechanisms for the flexheads need work.
That blue is sweeeet. Did I see full blue and hi viz cordless ratchets? I've never seen those before, wouldn't mind a closer look at those 🤪

I have the new 100 ratchets. I like it pretty good. Backdrag is a bit much some times gotta break it in. Flex head gets loose and floppy too easily. Need a rebuild on mine again. On my extra long one when I break loose a really tight bolt it jumps from off to on which is a bit weird. But I like the look and feel more than the dual 80

Clean the prints off the wrenches the chrome is a big selling point

My Cynergy 100 tooth ratchet has really bad backlash. Haven't used it enough to "break it in." Or it needs more super lube. Not sure. Only bought one tho dont need another.

The anvil on my 100 tooth free wheels if you put pressure on the selector switch, don't think a high priced ratchet should do that. imo
You never would have done that if someone had never told you about it 😂. You literally have to bear down on it with your thumb directly on it. Who does that in the course of using it? lol
Still doesn't make it right, my old crappy craftsman ratchets don't do that

The Craftsman double box end wrench set metric made in USA 6-30 metric 100$ original price resale online for 800$-1000$. If you can find them and the made in China sears selling for double Craftsman is the only brand that resales for more than original price i have a old 50 snap on ratchet i can't warranty and if you go online look up vintage snap on 😂 it's sad no one collecting snap on but Craftsman is the peoples choice for vintage

It took a week to fix his trucks cuz they used harborfreight tools
HaHa its because he took it to Truck Center and they are always backed up and of course no parts so they had to order it in.
My snap on dealer has been in our area for many years he is a cool guy but i feel like he barely tries with all the new stuff truck always looks the same inside

Kevin is doing a great job. It’s a lot harder being on camera than it looks because people criticize everything you do. Look at the last video people were fussing because he was chewing gum! 😂 I think he’s doing a great job. He was a lot more at ease this video than last week and that was his first time on camera
