Question, what does it mean to be in a sorority
What it means to be in a sorority....its means sisterhood and guidance. This is an life long membership this is a org that is bigger than you these sororities help us grow . they help us be better than we were before becoming a member. To have a strong bond that is unbreakable with your line sisters to have life long sisters you could count on. Thats what it means to be in a sorority hope this was helpful😘
. . . to collaborate with a great group of professional, like-minded women in serving the local, state and national communities, with health/health-awareness workshops, voter-registration initiatives, edcational and college-prep pursuits for high-school students, youth development, clothing projects for Haitian children . . . just to name a few! This is all fun and reward, but AKAs are serious, hard-working women behind the scenes, who have, typically, "several" community service projects a year they're tackling! Love my sorority!!

There is so much time and energy lost on yourself being in a sorority. They don't show all the hazing that is done to you. It's a secret...... doing errands at 3 am,walking for miles blind folded,getting hit and verbally abuse by your "sisters",having to do anything to come up with money,digging threw toilets, eating nasty food,learning endless quotes,not being able to sleep for nearly 2 month's,having to stand on one leg for hours and if you lose your balance you get hit with a big wooden paddle.... all this stuff going on and you still have to make sure your grades don't slip. If you feel comfortable being mentally and physically abuse then a sorority is for u. Hazing is still a huge part of sorority life, and u can't tell anyone cause it's a secret that needs to be kept. It's a stupid thing to do just to be popular.. When your out of collage your "sisters" don't care about you,the only thing they care about is you sending in your member ship money every month. Use your time in collage to educate yourself and have fun. Don't be fooled
Not everyone is meant to be in a Fraternity or Sorority! The people that go thru the things you mention, want to be there or else they would not join. Things have changed and times have changed so dont embellish on the negative but embrace the positive things done in the community and world wide. A-Phi-A 4 Life...06!!!

I have discovered that Joining these groups you become a servant of another god which is for bidden in the Bible.

Because of our sins, He had to send His Son in the world to be crucified so that we can have eternal life. We see this when we read the Bible.
If you are in one of these groups and you want out or you want to go to Heaven, you can asks the Heavenly Father for forgiveness.
It says in the Bible that He’s not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.
