Over 2k hours and I thinking about taking over the world as the hre... Again but I don't know if I'm gonna do It as the og karling, the upstar habsburg or larper salians
@@jean-edouardahmedozzi6120 This game is so complicated so it really takes time to learn properly how to play. But I believe this game is pretty good. I see many people playing/having played this game for hundreds of hours.
@@jean-edouardahmedozzi6120 yes definitive, i really hope they make a remaster one day, the same game but with better graphics and maybe the 3D character system from ck3, everything else can sty like it is, maybe make a few game mechanics a little bit deeper but that's it
For me as well. And it’s not just about mechanics, events and roleplaying opportunities. In CK2 the atmosphere of the real Middle Ages is better felt, with this parchment-gothic interface, music, sounds. When I played CK3, I couldn’t shake the feeling that this was not a game about the Middle Ages as such, but about the Middle Ages in the spirit of Monty Python, more comic, fun and simple.
because ck2 had so few visual stuff compared to ck3, much of the game's things went into the audio, and by god. did they deliver heaven with the soundtrack, effects and of course the menu select thing
Ahah just with the thumbnail i knew what it was about. At this point i think that playing this medieval banger of a melody is mandatory for any player starting a new game 1000 and more after it stills get my monkey brain that neuron activation
@@giokun100Do you think anyone would ever make a mod which just imports ck2 to ck3's engine? Sort of how they're making new vegas in fallout 4 as a mod

Still my favourite game of all time of any genre and any medium. One day I am going to fix my Neolithic total conversion mod to get it working again (bloody map patches !)
If not the fact that ck2 is too heavily rng i would play it till now. Nothing is more annoying that your plan is wrecked by sudden sickness or death event.
I knew what this was going to be before i clicked it. Unfortunately, you also clicked the "high middle ages" start date, something nobody has ever done.
@@stoopidapples1596ck3s dlcs so far have been awful. At this point CK2 had far more, and was imo a far better base. perktrees are cringe, 3d models distract too much from devtime and they leaned far too much into le reddit incest memes while also removing all super natural events.
Absurd. CK2 DLCs follow the formula of a half-assed focus on one area and then adding like 5 features that should have been base game features in. CK3 was a complete game at launch, and anything added that is absolutely core to gameplay is part of the free update, not the DLC. The areas focused on so far are far, far more in depth than CK2 could have dreamed to reach. Sure, it's missing some stuff because they haven't touched on some subjects yet, but when they get there they will be much more in depth than CK2 was. Most of the stuff in the first 3 years of CK2 DLC was already in the game AT LAUNCH. The majority of what's missing is region-specific flavour, which is slowly but surely being added. You also can't just claim perk trees are cringe like that. You cannot have played with many of them, because having played with all of them at least once, I can confidently say that there's only really 1 or 2 that aren't a valid play strategy. They allow for you to play the game completely differently each time without having to be in a different region. And if you really want supernatural stuff, there's like 50 billion mods for that, so go wild. You have rose-tinted glasses my friend.@@GlizzyGoblin757
Ck2 has 10 years worth of dlc so ofc its natural that ck 2 has more "features" than ck 3. I still prefer ck 2 atm but i am optimistic that ck 3 will surpass ck 2 eventually.
1400 hours and yes i still do it
4000 hours here and I still do this
500 hours and i still cant hold 3 kingdoms and england and get that fucking achievement...
Over 2k hours and I thinking about taking over the world as the hre... Again but I don't know if I'm gonna do It as the og karling, the upstar habsburg or larper salians
I have 86 minutes in CK2. This is in fact the only thing I have ever done in this game
You're missing out on the best Paradox game ever
I have 2,583 hours. I still do this when I first open it.

@@velvet6923I personally like the janky graphics and the feel of the good old ck2
Reminds me that CK2's theme is so damn good, better than CK3's imo

I agree with both of you
The whole game is better
I just have ck2 playlist playing in the background with music setting all the way don in ck3
far better than ck3's. I turn off the music in ck3, in ck2 I do not.

I love Ck2 so much. I wish ck3 has some of the flavour that the older Ck2 had, but it seems lost to time...
After all these years I'm still baffled how CK3 has mostly positive reviews. It's so bland.....
@@giokun100Do you think anyone would ever make a mod which just imports ck2 to ck3's engine? Sort of how they're making new vegas in fallout 4 as a mod
Their releasing a lot of good DLCs this year with some of the best ck2 features 😊
@@Craftbubi It does look promising.
@MICKYJ why tough, were getting plagues, unlanded gameplay and more
elder kings does this beautifully with the elder scrolls theme!
>Not have 2/3 of the DLC
Yes. Yes we have all done that in CK2
I am deeply disappointed that we can't do this in ck3.
Literally half my hours in that game are probably just me doing that
I love how the first quarter of the video is just the load screen.
This is probably the single biggest thing i wish ck3 had from ck2, ngl.
Yep when I first started playing this game I just sat there clicking it for a while without even playing
I NEVER KNEW THAT'S THE TUNE IT PLAYED! I'D STOP AT LIKE 3!
Oh, I thought the sound effect was random.
Thank you, random content creator who showed up in my feed.
Clicked on France aside for war? No, not even once. Not even when playing with the select music
I probably spent my first half hour clicking on the map while looking for someone to play
I knew what it was before you even loaded in
Holy shit i noticed this feature in elder kings last week and just assumed it was from the mod.
Logic has made me hated by the world.
bling blong blong bling blang blang blong blong
I've never felt the urge to move over to CK3
Every time
It's just the most relaxing bit.
Thats a cool little thing

Always when waiting in lobby for friends.
Just looking at the map of europe while listening to the soundtrack is beautiful.

Never noticed that one. Somehow

Am I the only one who kills every relative I have when playing?
Before I even clicked on this video I knew exactly what you were going to do
"What instrument do you play?"
"Europe map"
yes... of course...
I expect people to do that but not on the exact same rythm as I do it
Every single time

I have 172.5 hours in ck2
and yes I did this
ah... memories
MAAAN!!!
I didn't know you could do that.
Every time.
yes we have
Yes, it is so true!
Yes I always doing that and probably will never stop 😂
Wait, there are other things to do in the game?
yes
Every new gameplay
Did that all the way back on the day it released in February 2012. :) Would like the video but it's at 777 already.
yah ofc we have lmao
Damn i gotta play ck2 again soon
Far better then the new game, this game you remember the characters much more in
Totally
I just did that
Yes, I do this all the time
yup

so real
ck2 is still better than ck3 . New paradox really is lackin behind. Vic3 and CSII got out bad too
yeah "bad" is putting it very mildly. ck3 is OK tho, just hope they do more major updates instead of boring regional flavor for Iberia and Persia
Yes , i would go as far as saying I do it all the time
I have 1300 hours in CK2 and never realized this. 🤣
Yes
I have 300 hours in crusader kings 2 and i do it every time i play the game

Still cant play ck3. And victoria 3.
Idk mb just baby duck syndrome
Hey whats the graphic mod your using?
A clean map mod

Unfortunately yes
I do it.
Only in the Elder Kings mod

I dont have any dlc's for CK2 thats why i chose 1066, I barely played the game before I got CK3, thanks for watching :)
