This video has me in tears. My mom passed away a few days ago and it’s the worst pain I’ve ever felt. I’m 25 and even though I’m an adult (or supposed to be), I keep thinking about how I’m gonna go through life without her - because I feel like I’m still just growing up.
This video has always been one of my favorites and I’m grateful to you for reuploading it. I’ve stayed away from ASMR the past few days because I knew it’d make me incredibly emotional but tonight I decided to watch this, and I’m glad I did.
Maria, thank you for comforting me and bringing me some peace of mind during the most awful time. You truly are a godsend ❤️

Hold on, fellow stranger. I totally understand you 😢 My mother has passed away last year at only 53 after a sudden stroke on the second day after an elective surgery. Was totally unexpected for me and I am 31. A year has already passed and still I can’t get used to the fact of her not being alive. Take your time grieving, don’t hide it, I was crying over and over for about 14 days long, never stopped - on the contrary I pushed myself to cry over photos, letters and reminiscences, I read them on purpose and spent hours in hysteria to let all the sorrow out. Only then after 2 weeks I felt kind of empty and a little bit better. Continuing to do my job also helped, doing simple things that I can do well. I still don’t spend a day without trying to figure this awful and strange thought out in my head “my mom is not here anymore” (even now printing it seems CRAZY). But we need to go on. That’s what moms would want from us - to be happy, to love ourselves and to try to continue living this life as nice as we can. I thought I would never laugh and smile anymore, how dare I after what happened. But then I realised it will do nobody any better. Not me, not mom. Everybody seems to have his fate and time for the soul to leave. The sorrow and grief will always be the part of our lives but we need to hold on. Hugs. I would not wish you the fastest recovery. I would wish to take your time and live through this saddest time and don’t lock it inside. Hugs.

The thing about Maria is that she looks the same all the time so I didn't realize this was a reupload until several minutes into the video, haha! I love those old towel folding videos, the etiquette videos, and ironing videos. I find them incredibly relaxing. I'd love to see more of those going forward!

Oh! Thank you for putting this back up! This put me to sleep every night during a very stressful semester in college. I couldn't sleep because I was so stressed out from the courseload, family tension, and personal health issues. I cried when it wasn't available anymore. @@apedfish8374I think it was because Maria was getting into Christianity and crystals and belief of crystals / energy / spirituality is more pagan, witchlike and against Christian beliefs. Although I'm not sure if she is still following Christianity.
@@kumkumiskyla516 yeah that's what I had heard mostly. In addition people were leaving nasty comments in the same vein. Even the reupload from a few days ago already has comments accusing her of idolatry because she's "worshiping" the crystals and apparently that goes against god according to them.

This video is one of my favorites. I love everything about it. Visually, it is very soothing. Your slow, intentional movements, the hair being combed and de tangled, and even simply how aesthetically pleasing the crystal combs and amethyst hairpins are. They are beautiful to look at. The visuals make everything feel so safe and sleepy. The sounds are also incredible. The wind blowing at some points, the slight vibration in your voice at certain times. The sound of the head massage, made me feel like when I was a kid and my mom would run her fingers through my hair when I was anxious. The crystal combs on the hair also sound so wonderful. I’m glad this video is back up. It’s so great.
