My husband and I have been cooking every day and eating all our leftovers. We have been enjoying each others company and being home. Watching CZcams and Netflix. I work at home and I'm so thankful for that because if I couldn't work I'd go crazy with everything going on. I've learned that we have to have a lot of faith and trust in God that things will get better..he works wonders and always finds a way to let us know things will get better.
I’m a nurse and I work at night and I LOVEEE listening to the podcast while here it just takes my mind from the world at least for 45 minutes THANK YOU!!!!❤️

I’m 17 minutes in and I just want to say, you two are so genuine and humble. It’s really shining through on your guys videos and lives. I’ve only talked to you two once on live and it shine through there as well. Sharing your knowledge with me and just telling me to “go for it” and telling me “the only thing stopping you is you”. you supported me just by saying that to me. Really showing you want me to have success, with just talking to me for maybe 10 minutes. I think about it often, because it being that evident in videos through a screen wanting to share your knowledge with someone you’ve never met to help them be successful, not a lot of people do that anymore and you two should be very proud of yourselves for that. So kind sharing your knowledge with beginners and doing it just to be helpful, out of th goodness of your heart not wanting anything in return or expecting anything. It’s nice seeing the success both of you have but still are so down to earth and have good heads on your shoulders. Being so kind and not being an “act” just for the cameras. So thank you Karen and Sebas for being you and the real you, it doesn’t go unnoticed.

I made the whipped coffee with a twist! I used 2 tbsp of instant coffee (cafe de olla), sugar, hot water, and Khalua! It was so bomb and super easy to make!

The tortilla con huevito we call it migas here in Texas and we mix pico de Gallo in the eggs too 😋 my mom told me that they invented migas in Mexico to trick kids into eating tortillas so that way kids would eat and enjoy tortillas

I’ve been gardening, working out and going for walks multiple times a day, cleaning, playing board games with family, cocktails with my mom every night, giving myself and mom facials! Honestly this lockdown has helped me grow mentally and physically which is so crazy to me! I’ve grown as a person and find so many silver linings each day! We all got this 💪🏽 Love you guys!
I honestly felt that so much! Since this lock down I realized how much cheaper and healthier it is to buy groceries than go out and eat or get take out. I'm 20 and my mom has ALWAYS cooked, and now I feel like I can actually make meals or have a menu for myself since I've actually cooked everyday since this locked down.

Corn tortillas with eggs down in TEXAS is called MIGAS.. add pico de Gallo when cooking the tortillas then add ur eggs after add shredded cheese (ur preference) it’s BOMB 💣
I have two kids, a 2 year old and a 6 month old so they keep me busy. But I listen to la platica during nap time. I’ve been redecorating the whole house and DIYing some furniture projects, but mostly focusing on our master bedroom and making it a space that is more calming and has good energy. Definitely going to have to get some stuff to make the cantaritos once I put the kids to bed at night!

It’s hard! I’m a stay at home mom to two toddlers and I miss my time alone lol. I mean it was probably only for a couple hours every weekend but it was THAT me time. I hate hate hate washing after I cook and that’s pretty much all day since my 3yr old isn’t going to school anymore. My 2yr old would nap around the time she would leave but now since they’re both here they don’t nap 😭 on weekends we would go grocery and eat out, so is saved me from all the work. When we go back to normal the kids are going to have to stay with grandma for a couple of days so I can rest lol...

I love tortilla with huevo! I grew up on that. But now since my taste buds and way of eating has gotten better since being with my bf almost 9yrs (my suegra taught me how to stop eating plain 😂) I get fancy with mine. I add some onion, tomato, Serrano pepper with it. Then when it’s done I top it off with queso fresco, avócate and some salsa with my cafecito. Best breakfast ever!! I can eat that almost everyday. 😂
