“Learn To Love The Lie” was one of the first songs we wrote for Brain Pain. It's about being stuck in a mutually miserable relationship, but you’re both too much of a coward to leave. If you’re going to lie to yourself about being happy, you might as well learn to love it. Let's not kid ourselves...we’ve all been there. Hope you enjoy the video.

I just wish the lyrics has some story in it rather than lots of internal emotions. Pop-punk bands back then usually give visual lyric cues. "I went to a whore, she said my life's a bore", "I took her out, it was friday night"
Nowadays the lyrics are "I wish it was just another day, And pray that everything works out fine". There's no story in it but emotion how they feel about the situation. Sultan of swings is probably the best story lyric out there

This song is about false love and the emotions that come with it. Just saying that Four Year Strong might not be for you unfortunately...

i love how the two vocalists trade off lines so often it’s so cool
they do it in almost every song and harmonise alot of lines
I remember in 2011 some people were up in arms about "In some way shape or form" but I think the songs released so far and their reception show the album was slightly ahead of it's time imo.
