The Green Bay Packers could have the best runningback room in football. Josh Jacobs was the NFL rushing champion a little over 1 year ago, and he is now joined by Marshawn Lloyd, who was named the best runningback in the 2024 NFL draft class by NFL Network’s Daniel Jeremiah. Marshawn Lloyd is a home-run hitter with great athleticism and speed, and he has drawn comparisons to Aaron Jones. Marshawn Lloyd is an ideal complement for Josh Jacobs. Along with AJ Dillion, this is an excellent backfield. Go Pack Go 💚💚💛💛
Hopefully they can cut down on Lloyd fumbling the ball.

One thing o envied about the Lions is their 1 - 2 punch at RB. They have 2 starters. Now Marshawn gives us potentially the same set up ... Let's Goooooo!

Last years draft was so good I was worrying that we would fall back on the trend line but the film leads me to believe that gutey did it again. Players seem to be thinking SB run with 100% OTA attendance (minus the 1 family emergency).
I would say this is a steal! The comparisons he’s got with Jacobs and Swift in him. It makes a ton of sense and he’s got some very good talented skills. Him going against Williams twice a year too will even make things more fun against the Bears! He’s like the fact of doing that and his attitude in interviews is so good. He’s going to be threat to opposing defenses this coming season in the run game at times with Jacobs. Phenomenal pick by the Packers

BTW, I played and replayed this Aaron Jones highlight tape from 2023, slowed down to half speed, and apart from Josh Myers getting too upright at times and missing second level blocks, Jones had lots of running room on practically every play. As long as Lloyd can use his quickness and agility like Aaron Jones in passing situations he'll be on the field.
Packers have the receiver talent to build a lead on teams early and with an improved defense. They will be able to pound the ball late in the game.
In old school O-line play, arm length is an important factor. For the Packers’ techniques, originally developed by James Campen, arm length is not an important factor.
So the Packers can take more talented linemen in the later rounds that other teams don’t want. If that same player went to another team, they would not do as well.
You can see a great demonstration of that technique by Bryan Bulaga when he shut down Demarcus Lawrence in 2017.
This has the potential to be Gute's best draft yet. It could also be even worse than Ted in 2012. Too early to tell obviously but you have to be excited for the upside of this team!
