- Continuing my journey with the brilliant game that is Heroquest, I got a mat from Deepcut Studios to play on. Note that this is not sponsored at all, I just like the mat!
I've also got some updates at the end of some recent things that have happened in our games recently as we work our way through the quest books.

Absolute pleasure, love the design :-)
Big thumbs up for the kill of the mage!
Thanks, it was brilliant - love it when it works out to be such a cool story, especially because it happened organically and without me fudging anything! Was so lovely seeing the kids getting so excited over it!
Great mat, and this Matt guy sounds like he's incredibly handsome.
Oh sure, he's alright if you're into that sort of thing! 🤣
how easy are these things to clean?
The mats? The one I went for was the neoprene mousepad material, so it is a sort of slightly slippery fabric on top which is fine for wiping off crumbs (though I did ask the kids to stop eating over it!), and I think you could give it a wipe with a damp cloth. The underneath is like the bottom of an old school mousepad, so it doesn't slip around on the table - again they can be wiped down alright. I know they do completely fabric versions, and vinyl ones I think, but I haven't bought either of those
