I got a couple request to not use any ECB's the other week so I thought I would make this video just for some of you who are learning to coupon at CVS. I hope this helps. The deals surely aren't great but if gives you an idea of what to do exactly. xoxo~Toni
Transaction #1
Scope (Buy 1 Get $4 ECB) Limit 2
So buy 2 & get $8 ECB (use $0.75 off coupons from coupons.com) if you have $2.00 coupons EVEN BETTER
OOP should be less than $7 (depending on the prices at your store)
Get $8 ECB
Transaction #2 (Option #1)
Now you have $8 to roll…
Use that $8 to pay for:
Loreal & Zantac
Loreal Buy 2 (Get $4 ECB) use $4.00 off 2 mfc (5/15 inserts)
Zantac $8.99 (Get $2 ECB when you buy 1) use $6.00 off 1 mfc (coupons.com) Total $2.99
Pay very little OOP for both because you are rolling the $8 ECB
Now you will get $6 in ECB’s back
OR IF YOU DON’T WANT TO DO THAT DEAL & NO ZANTAC COUPON
Transaction #2 (Option 2)
Colgate Total Deal (Buy 1 Get $2.50ECB limit 2) Do this deal twice for $5 ECB back
Buy 2 at $3.49 each = $6.98
Use (2) $1.00 off coupons (if you have it coupons.com) if not use $0.50 off mfc from 5/15 SS
= $4.98 OOP
&
Loreal Deal
Loreal Buy 2 ($4.99 each) $9.98 (Get $4 ECB) use $4.00 off 2 mfc (5/15 inserts)
So $4.98 (Colgate)+ $5.98 (Loreal) = $10.96
Roll $8 ECB from SCOPE DEAL (transaction #1)
=$2.98 OOP
Then you will get $9 in ECB’s back (roll that $9 into transaction #3)
Transaction #3
Buy 2 Gillette or Venus Razors (Get $6 ECB back + use $3 off 2 APP Only coupon)
Razors are priced at about $10.xx
$20.00 minus app only $3 off 2 coupon = $17
$17.00 now use (2) $3 off 1 coupons (May P&G) that’s $6 off
Total is $11.xx
Roll $9 ECB (from transaction #2-Option #2)
Pay $2.xx OOP (could be less depending on the price of the razors)
Get $6 ECB back
***So at this point you can choose to stop & save the $6 for next week or buy what you want.
I would buy the (3) 12pk of Pepsi products 3/$8
So you would buy (3) 12 pks for $8 and roll the $6 ECB (from transaction #3)
Pay $2 OOP
At the end of this trip you should have
(2) Scope mouthwashes
(2) Loreal Shampoo/Condtioner
(2) Colgate toothpaste or toothbrushes (whatever you chose to get)
(2) Razors
(3) 12pk of Pepsi

New to couponing. I have found that I can catch on easy to these types of deals at CVS. I appreciate this video because you really broke it down step by step. This is very helpful! Today I used coupons, CVS bogo deals, and app coupons which allowed me to get razors, bottled water, toothpaste, and tampons all for $17! ( I had 10 off 40, 10 off 50, and 10 ECB). The cashier was just as excited as I was. I basically only paid for one refill pack of razor cartridges and got a $5 ECB back. Very happy and I have learned alot watching your videos! Thanks!! :)

I've learned to do this just by watching your videos and this one was especially helpful! Just buy one or two things at a time, get the ECB and go back for another sale item using those ECB.

OMG TONI YOU HUSBAND IS SO FUNNY, YOU NEED TO TAKE HIM TO TARGET SO HE COULD TEACH THEM HOW TO TREAT CUSTOMERS, SOME OF THEM ARE SO RUDE, LOVE THIS VIDEO
I did the Scope deal using the 500ml bottles for $3.99 because they were tagged at my store. The ECB's didn't print, as you mentioned so I got the cashier to force print it. I had a $2/$6 mouthwash also which didn't come off automatically so she printed another $2 ECB's for me. I did the L'Oréal deal in the same transaction and ended up paying $11 in ECB's and $1.70 oop, tax included. Got back $14 in ECB's. Yeayyy thanks Toni!!!
+Clew Felix the Ooh that's great for you :) I'm happy your cashier was super nice and manually printed those extra bucks. the small scope is with the 4.00 ecb. mine didn't print either but when I went bk in cvs there was a sign that said ecb under it so the manager checked my receipt and it was correct so he entered something and the ecb printed out. just wanted to let you know.

since there is already an instant coupon using your cvs card, can i also use a manufacturer's coupon also? im new to couponing...
Hi Toni, Do you know how long the ECBs are good for, also the "cvs red box" reciet/ coupons etc..?.. and if anything expires that we should know about (except mfc. of course).

A lot of the things I buy don’t have a coupon😩 I don’t use L’Oréal or the razors. Don’t want to spend money on deals that aren’t useful to me😔 but great tips. I’ve never couponed before
