- Hi everyone! Thanks for joining me today for a review of my Mon Monogram/My LV Heritage Speedy Bandoulière 30! I have had this bag since October of 2021, and long story short, I love it! If you are a collector or Louis Vuitton, I recommend customizing at least one piece from this collection. You can do it online, or in store.
The best pieces, in my opinion, are any of the Speedys, Keepalls, the mini pochette, the Neverfull MM, or the passport cover. Some of the SLGs even come in Damier Graphite now!

I still love my LV reverse monogram LYXBAG clutch! It's versatile, fits a variety of items, and is definitely a workhorse! I think seeing it everywhere (like the LV speedy) is proof that it's already a classic.
I have to admit, I'm watching this while playing with the different customization options for the speedyB25 😅💕 I had no idea that these didn't come folded. That's great to know because I was turned off by the creases the only time I've ever tried on a speedy in boutique. Thanks for sharing, Jane!
Thanks Meghan! I forgot to mention I went back and forth on what size Speedy to get too... I love the 30 though! And I have the 25 in azur already and love it. But honestly the Speedy B 25 with the customization is absolutely adorable. Such a hard choice!
That yellow is such a brilliant color it would put a smile on my face every single time I opened my bag.

i just bought a wallet with that groom zippy organizer with green and white stripe , the strip is chipped but i really don.t mind . the canvas is in excellent condition and the leather inside looks new . not to mention i got it for over 400 cheaper than if i buy a plain one with browninside . i feel like it is made so much better than the new canvas.
You're so right! The canvas was thicker and sturdier back then. It's thinner now, which may mean a more lightweight handbag, but also seems a lot less durable.

Loved this! I remember I wanted a Mon Monogram speedy so badly back in the day. I wanted one to match my blue Groom agenda. I love that your groom cles is in mint condition. It’s so hard finding them in good shape these days.
Thanks Caleb! To be honest one reason my cles is in such great shape is that it literally spent years just chilling in the dustbag in a drawer, during a period when I wasn't using any LV! I loved the blue colorway in the Groom collection!

You look like a movie star!!! Loved that intro:) I have the Ebene Bandoulier 30 too. Just purchased it a few months ago. Mine was mailed to me from the LV boutique and it was folded but the creases aren't noticeable. I have it just a few months and I use it for work frequently. I love it and I love that it's weather friendly. That's why I didn't get the monogram. I didn't want to worry about the vachetta. OMG, I mentioned in one of my videos how horrible the envelop dust bags are. Glad I'm not alone on that:)
Thank you for watching! You're too kind, I felt like being dramatic with my scarf and sunnies, lol. I don't know why the creases aren't as bad on damier ebene, or maybe it depends on other factors too. My damier azur speedy 25 isn't showing the creases as badly either, but it's light-colored. Of all the brands I own, luxury and contemporary, LV is the only one that doesn't do a drawstring dustbag. Doesn't Chanel do envelope style too? Perhaps LV is just copying them 😂
@@janehex I'm not sure about Chanel dust bags. I don't own a Chanel....yet. Lol. Maybe my next lotto ticket.

The mon mono speedy is on my list. It’s a “someday!” bag. I would probably go 35 bando. So fun seeing how yours turned out and what the yellow looks like. I think of yellow as a neutral.

Thank for this fantastic comparison and detailing of both bags. I don't have anything from the heritage collection, but I have enjoyed watch videos in regards to it. Yes, LV has increased prices tremendously ( especially during this pandemic). I love the Speedy, and like you, I perfer the bag slouchy (not boxy). ....Great share🤗👜👛

I agree that Mon Monogram sounds better. It just rolls of the tongue vs. the new name. I love love this bag of yours, Jane! Many years back when I'd just gotten into LV, I played with the Mon Monogram program on the website and the yellow/ivory was my fave.💛 Gotta get some of those charcoal bags! I need one for my Speedy B as well. I used it a lot when we were living in Ethiopia and the smell of the Ethiopian Birr bills stuck to the interior. 😭

The intro 😂😂. Love both speedy. I will buy the speedy 30b for travel soon. I have the 25, but the bag is a bit small for travel and the opening is small which is annoying. Great comparison Jane.

i just got the new fall collection neverfull, the canvas is super thick. made so well. and the speedy canvas is super thick too , the fall into you collection.

The way to get creases out is to stuff the bags for a while
i got a bag from 2012 and the canvas really isnt thick at all.

There is a date code it’s just hidden you have to really search for it varies per year and model of speedy so I wouldn’t know where to tell you to look but I can guarantee you there is a date code.

I considered getting a heritage mini pochette when i couldn't just get a regular one. I had the hardest time picking the colours too and then there was a price increase 😑 so i just looked on the preloved market😅😅

Question when you use a SLG as a charm do you store anything in them? I have a few that I could use as a charm but I’m not sure what I would put in them. Feels like anything I would want to carry I would want to keep in my bag.
Not really, I guess I could put coins in there but it would add weight and be awkward to actually use that way.

I don't know, I think zoomoni might be a bit cheaper? I do have one Samorga, for my Gucci Ophidia pouch, and it's really really nice!
