EAS Blue Alert Alabama Statewide for Prison Escapee and a Missing Correctional Officer

  • The State of Alabama has issued a Blue Alert. The Lauderdale County Sheriffs Office and the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency asks for your assistance in locating Casey White white male 38 years of age with salt and pepper hair hazel eyes and tattoos on both arms. Casey White is being sought in connection with a missing Lauderdale County Correctional Officer Vicky Sue White. Vickie White and Casey White were last seen on April 29th 2022 at approximately 9 40 a m at the Lauderdale County Detention Center. Casey White is believed to be a serious threat to the corrections officer and the public. If you have any information regarding this suspect please contact the Lauderdale County Sheriffs Office at 2 5 6 3 6 6 3 0 0 6 or call 9 1 1.

      The officer unfortunately shot herself and died, the Inmate has already been recaptured in Indiana

    Sadly, I just heard on the news that the officer has died after she shot herself :(
    The only good News is that the Inmate was found and recaptured in Indiana.

    I wonder if the corrections officer and suspect are working together to escape
    Edit: I was so right about that. That officer was hours away from retirement anyway.

      @@syriansyrup1314 2 month late reply. both were in a relationship Correctional officer took the easy way out and the inmate is back in prison.

    The REAL question is, Is the escaped prison suspect and the missing correctional officer related? Because both the escaped prison suspect and the missing correctional officer have the same last name.
