Great point. He had the glass and phone in his hands and his blood alcohol level was sky high. He easily could have slipped and fell and hit his head. They found the glass and phone ty ight with his body. That makes more sense. The coroner said his injury could have been from a fall. My only problem with that is why didnt all those people leaving the house see the body, at least one of them.We will never know but we were shown that his injuries were not from being struck by a car. Therefore, not guilty. Even the coroner wouldnt rule it a homicide. There ssd should have been no charges brought. Very sad. RIP Mr O"Keefe.😢

The difference was that your friend’s girlfriend did not pronounced that “John might have been hit by a plow!” An hour before he was found!
The difference is that in this case they found evidence that proves he was hit by KR car, not just by an unfortunate fall! Etc, etc. There are BIG differences here that you want to dismiss, but the jury is NOT stupid!

I've been watching this trial off and on since opening statements. In my opinion, most of the evidence points to her guilt until you see the photos of his arm. Coming from a family of canine trainers, I know without a doubt that those are canine wounds. And that alone would cause me to vote not guilty. She may have had an argument and even hit him with her car before driving away. But in no way does any of that explain those bite and claw marks. Those injuries came from a large breed canine.

The defense did their best to create doubt, but it came off as desperate, spinning out of context, and badgering witnesses to get frazzled answers. The main body of evidence is indisputable. It always troubles me when I see mobs of people blindly supporting a cause. Some may not be blind, but some are simply following. Very often, they have no idea of the truth, nor do they care. And it's the worst kind of group-think in a court case. Remember Amber Heard? People can and will see things differently and that's a good thing. I know a lot of people think that the snow plow driver was a good witness. I know some snow plow drivers and I myself drive when it's snowing. It's very difficult to see past your own windshield and you intensely focus on the road and the tracks in front of you. NEVER does one look very far off of the road when they're driving in a blizzard. NEVER. I believe the snow plow driver was afraid to say that he didn't see the area where the body may have been because he was focused on doing his job--staying on the road and plowing snow. Besides that, it would have been covered with snow by then...it's nearly impossible to see a hump in the snow even if you're looking. Fortunately the Jury has been mostly kept from the push of various groups, and hopefully they will make a just decision.
