    BOXER is an amazing candidate that is soooooo close to perhaps being your perfect RVHauler. It already has the bed / deck length and space, and with a bit of customization, could be finished off to tow the largest of 5th wheel rvs or horse trailers.
    The bed is long enough to handle a 2 door Jeep, and still allow ample room to install a 5th wheel hitch, and still make the sharpest of 90 degree turns. We could also make slight changes to handle a 4 door Jeep!
    Everything we do at RVHaulers is custom, and we welcome your creative ideas.
    Sorry, the Jeep is not included in the price. The price is for the RVHauler exactly as you see it today.
    We will be delighted to quote making any changes you need to finish it to your liking. Do you want us to add a hitch view camera, air-ride 5th wheel hitch? We can quote that for you.

    Hey Gregg. I'm Robert, the one who emailed you earlier in the week from Quebec.
    First off, I love watching your videos. Lots of clear and unbiased explanations.
    Having detailed vehicles for over 20 years I understand the challenges of cigarette smoke. I may have a few tricks for anyone having cigarette smoke smells in their vehicle.
    First off and as you mentioned, steam clean any plastic and material that you can.
    When I do a full detail, first I start on the headliner. A good APC (all purpose cleaner) and a microfiber cloth. If it's really dirty I'll wet the cloth first. Then use a extractor machine if available and if not, a good wet/dry vacuum. Then I hit the seats with the same procedure. I'm betting that on a higher mileage vehicle that you will benefit by lightly wetting the seat and spraying with APC. I use a round nylon brush on the end of my drill to scrub. I use this attachment on the rubber mats and carpet also. Then I start hitting the plastics. Hit the plastics with a good APC and a damp microfiber cloth. After everything is done, I grab another microfiber cloth and steam clean over everything again. Top to bottom. Then, I litteraly take a soapy wash mit with car soap and attack those windows. I'll wash with mit and dry them. And probably repeat before finally using a window cleaner. Then for your regular garage warrior, you let it dry preferably with doors or windows open. Air circulation is key. Then when it's dry, take baking powder and sprinkle all over the seats and carpet. Wait another 12-24 hours. Now one last vacuum and it's starting to get to the end. Next change cabin filter assuming that you have one and I release a "car bomb" with the fan and heat on as high as it goes on recirculate. For the regular Joe it ends there. It should be pretty good if not perfect.
    But if it's not, we have one last hail Mary. An Ozone machine. Most automotive detailer have one or can at least refer you to someone. These machines are amazing.
    I hope this helps someone.

    Have you ever built a hauler to haul a Polaris Slingshot 3 wheeler?

    • @rvhaulers
      @rvhaulers  Před 7 měsíci

      Hi Kenny G,
      No, I haven't had the request YET to take the Slingshot. I have actually looked at them, and their low clearance, and figured out how to do it. IT CAN BE DONE!
      Can I build one for you? Hey, that would be a really good reason for me to buy one - I'll need it for test loading. Hurry up and call me, I need a reason. C'mon, help a guy out ...

    I've noticed that the 5th wheel hitch seems lower then the hight it would be on a pickup. Is there modifications done on the camper in order to reach the hitch on a HDT?

    • @rvhaulers
      @rvhaulers  Před 11 měsíci +1

      Great question thanks. In all our custom builds we are careful to ensure the 5th wheel resultant height is to the current industry standard between 50 and 51 inches above ground.
      Older 5th wheels were setup for 48 to 49 inches above ground.
      Thanks for taking the time to watch my videos!

      Howdy! Yes, my wife and I are at that stage where we work to LIVE, we don't live to work. Taking time to go hunting, camping and fishing is important to us. I hope you had some time to relax this summer as well!
