I keep telling people i know that I plan to visit Israel one day and they always act defiantly asking why the heck would I want to visit Israel. Because of the few secs of the video is one reason. Parts of Tel Aviv and Jerusalem reminds me of Singapore with the rich diversity of the melting pot of cultures and faiths. It has accomplished so much despite not being a century old. And yes, had its own problems internally but so does everywhere else. Israel is worth visiting.

Aahhh.. loved this one hour stroll.. pity that the film dindn't do the last part, the northern beach, where I used to go from 1980 to 1985.
That was the 'quiet beach'. A lot has changed. In the 80s' the pavement stopped half way to Yafo, and 1 km towards yafo yhere was a lot of garbage, and a sewer coming out in the sea. But it was cozy. A few beach pubs, mostly wooden, where we would drink our Goldstars, and Macabee beers for about $1,50, and a falafel for the same price. and on the beach these vendors on the beach selling Ice cream shouting "ARTIC! Artic LEMON" Artic misjmisj!" Miss all of this. in 2007 i came back on my honey moon and then already I didn't recognize most. Kikar atarim was half empty. No dolfinarium, and a lot of new hotels. In 2019 we went for the last time and we noticed a lot of loud music from the restaurants and pubs on the beach. But still, thank you for the stroll! Brings back a lot of sweet memories. Greetings from Holland and Israel and its people forever in our hearts!
