No the fact is they don't have a right to be anywhere. Yet they exist and can't just disappear even though they offend people who can get jobs and live in homes they own.The nerve of them to keep breathing! Make a place for them because they have to go somewhere and pray you never become homeless. It can happen to anyone. It's terrifying, lonely, and hopeless.

It’s public property, which is why some have existed there for years. As the story stated, they are being removed, so the government can test for chemicals they contaminated the property with. Similar to what occurred for decades on the south side, resulting in three class action lawsuits involving thousands of Tucsonans. Check it out.

You can enjoy the public park a lot more if you leave your comfy couch and air conditioning. The more people at the park and other public places, the less desired those places are for the homeless to congregate. They don't want to be where a police car drives by and sees them and cites them. The more people at a park the more cops will patrol there. So go defend your public places! Quit believing that you are the only one who ever paid taxes. @@debrananez9836 Greetings Debra: I do not maintain all homeless are druggies. Some hard working & addiction free people have fallen on hard times; these people deserve our sympathy and help. As a physician, I have seen too many Americans fall down the rabbit hole of addiction. We will not begin to address the homelessness issue until we take off our rose colored glasses and realize drug addition is a cancerous epidemic. BTW, I sponsor a charity in Panama,Central America; I am truly impressed by the Panamanian culture values family ties & support. I wonder how much better the American homelessness circumstances would be if we still had a family centered culture.

Hi I would like to introduce myself to you. I am homeless. I have never done drugs nor do I drink. I am a Christian and I am seeking a job. I own an RV that I have stored but I can't live in it. They don't hire me. I don't have an address, it's hard to stay clean when I literally sleep on the ground, I am sunburned and because I'm 50 I need dental work done. I'm exhausted and in pain. The shelters are full. There isn't much hope and no one to talk to unless I don't mind the drugged people rambling on about their delusions. It's hard to stay socialized enough to sound like I'm housed and not slip up and give it away that I'm homeless. People see me and they know. They offer me food I didn't ask for as proof that they know. I have paid taxes all my life, I have worked since I was 16. I raised babies as a single mom and child support was scarce so saving was a fantasy. We homeless have a bad reputation due to some of us. Not all of us are lazy on drugs and just want the world to take care of us.
