I really don't understand wanting to take a van like this off road. To be good off roading a vehicle first needs to be as light as possible with bigger tires/wheels, locking diffs and the ability to deflate tires to 4/5/6 lbs and then reinflate them quickly. The sheer weight of these vans make them a horrible choice for this. If off roading is the purpose of having the van, tow a jeep, eat /sleep/ live in the van and take the jeep off roading. Just seems like common sense to me.
@John Tatman Your common sense is lacking then. The whole point of these vans is the convenience of being able to pull up and camp without setting up complicated camps. These are touring vans, Not sure how taking 2 vehicles equates to common sense. Oh and believe it or not you can actually deflate the tyres on these vans.
@@sprinter4x4australia49 I wopuld just recommend anyone planning on buying one of these and then taking it off road do their homework or like many here in the states you may end up seriously dissatisfied.
So many keyboard experts. Good on you for getting out there and having a crack. Awesome vans
Glad you were able to get it out of there.
can you explain your setup on the back? looks awesome

Hope it was worth the trouble.
А потом обратно ехать, молитесь что бы дождя не было.

No mais, boa diversão!!!
Crazy 🤪 Radek 🤟👍🚐
better tires will help you!
А где офф роад? Это обычная проселочная дорога в моем понимании

It's not always the purpose of the van, but sometimes you have to go off road to be able to sleep somewhere "nice".
