01:31 is The Teck Honeysuckle Tiara, NOT the Cartier Sapphire Bandeau. The Honeysuckle Tiara's central Honeysuckle motif is interchangeable with a huge pink diamond or (as shown in these photos of Mary) a huge emerald. The rest of the photows show the correct Cartier Sapphire Bandeau.
03:26 is a completely different tiara---a French one that was originally set with emeralds, that were later replaced with turquoises. It looks nothing like the Persian Turquoise Tiara that's in the other photos.
The narration is such a big chanellange for non native speakers. Most of non native will be more familiar with British accent and American accent. The narrator’s accent is far from that.
The first photo is NOT Queen Mary’s Sapphire Bandeau. It is the Honeysuckle Tiara which had three separate interchangeable central elements, one of which was a sapphire. She gave the tiara but not the sapphire to her daughter in law Alice in 1935. It is still in the possession of her daughter in law, Birgitte, the present Duchess of Gloucester today.
After Meghan appeared in Queen Marys diamond bandeau and then Princess Eugenie wore the Greville emerald kokoshnik I became interested in what else might be in the vaults.
@4:58 The Queen Mother was buried with the Strsthmore Rose Tiara. She was wearing it when her body was Laying in State in the Abbey, so she most likely was buried wearing it, if I remember correctly. I was 17 when the Queen Mother died and all wrapped teenage girl things and most of the news at the time was still reporting on 9/11 and Ground Zero that the death of The Queen Mother wasn't given as much as the coverage she deserved so there's a good chance I was wrong and reimbursing a different Royal or passing of another Country's Royal...but I coulda sworn hearing the news anchor/announcer saying she was 'adorned with so and so jewelry and atop her head is the Famous Strathmore Rose Bandeau Tiara"
She wasn't buried with it. It, along with all her possessions, was left to The Queen, to save death duties. Estates left to the Sovereign are exempt from taxation. It is currently stored in the Buckingham Palace vault.
I cannot say for sure, but just like the Spencer Tiara was sent back to Earl Spencer and the Spencer family, the Strathmore Rose Tiara was most likely sent back to the Earl of Strathmore and the Bows-Lyon family at Glamis.
The Strathmore Rose tiara was left to The Queen, along with The Queen Mother's estate. It was never a Bowes Lyon piece. Lord Strathmore bought it as a gift for his daughter as a wedding present.
Only Queen Alexandra and Queen Mary looked fabulous in tiaras. The queen mother looked a mess every single time. Queen E looks too heavily laden each time. Both Diana and Camilla looked natural and comfortable. Kate needs to look at hairstyles when donning tiaras. Hope nobody feels offended - just rendering some objective critique.
The Strathmore Rose Tiara is so gorgeous. It would make a wonderful bridal tiara, too. So sad that it is not be worn anymore.
hello pia how are you doing today hope you are safe over there?
hello pia how are you doing today hope you are safe over there?
I hope this year brings you blessings, happiness and prosperity. i'm Dwayne Henderson by name so if I may ask where are you from?
I wonder why it isn't worn anymore?
@@seansmith445 It’s extremely fragile and broke on the Queen Mother when she tried to wear it for the second time.
Great video but the music totally sicks! Get rid of it!
hello Cindy how are you doing today hope you are safe over there?
music is very irritating. Some classical music and just the text without narration and the video would have been great.
Queen Mary’s sapphire bandeau on Catherine. Waiting to see if Catherine will wear Diana’s sapphire suite. The necklace would look lovely on Catherine
I think the Sapphire Bandeau is LIKELY in the collection of the Chattos.

Yes she does this all the time.. mixes up the pictures to spread it out... The Honeysuckle is with the Gloucester Family
The music is great! ♫

The Teck is beautiful.

The music is horrendous, what bad taste!

I would wear the strathmore rose tiara if i was a royal bride, gorgeous ❤️
hello jenna how are you doing today hope you are safe over there?
Full of mistakes and errors, can only be viewed with the volume turned off as the accent and pronunciation of presenter are absolutely hideous.
Please get someone who speaks proper English because the narrator was impossible to understand.
Yes, it's very challenging for non native speakers to comprehend the content. I just tune off the volume and read.

So beautiful on all counts... ❤️

The Cartier bandeau tiara was worn by the Princess Royal at a State banquet last year.
Queen Mary's Sapphire bandeau should be worn. I don't understand why its relegated to the vault.
I want to see princess charlotte wear the Strathmore rose tiara, I think that would be a perfect first tiara for her.
The sapphire bandeau looks post 1925 given its Art Deco design

I think Margaret has worn it. I don’t know if she was gifted it or just loaned it.
Que regalen las tiaras y comprender comida! !!please translation
Had to turn the sound off as the annoying muscular was getting too much.
I think that last one should go to little Charlotte.
i do not understand you at all.
Intresting program spoilt by awful music
Drop the god awful music and maybe, just maybe, it would be watchable.
Music is so annoying I can’t watch this bullshit.
Terrible narrative
