I think they mostly decline because there are scammers in these tourist areas where they pretend to give you a flower for free and then after they ask money for it.

This is wonderful, because 99,9% of men receive their first flower(s) on their funeral. Men receiving flowers is an unique experience that's why they light up like that and some even wanted to give you things in return, because you touched some deep levels in them. Amazing video. :)

@@jameshatton4405 I'm ok with this reality since it was always the same and I never expected anything. But when I first heard this concept, it was a really f up moment to think about, and realize. Even most fathers don't get any flowers until that moment comes.

Something I’ve noticed is in places other then America if you approach someone they seem to always expect something negative. I guess the cultures just different.
Because in touristic places there are a lot of scammers who take advantage of people's kindness.

I don't think it's a matter of valentine's. Roses are symbolic outside of valentine's day and Christianity, I think the issue is that roses being a symbol of love are not the sort of thing deemed to be appropriate to accept from a stranger in Islam.
