Walking tour of F-6 Markaz Islamabad from a first person point of view, in 4K Ultra High Definition!
Islamabad is split into several 'sectors' according to its original master plan of the 1960s. Each sector has an area of 2km by 2km. Sectors are named as F-10, G-7, I-8 etc. From East to West the sector number increases, and from North to South the sector alphabet increases. Each sector has residential and commercial areas, and a few even have industrial areas. The commercial area includes several small markets within the sector, but its main constituent is one central market for each sector which is called the 'Markaz' of that sector. Almost every Markaz is popular for one reason or another.
Sector F-6 is one of the more posh and upscale area of Islamabad where many high profile people live such as diplomats, bureaucrats, politicians, celebrities, businessmen and businesswomen.
The F-6 Markaz hosts outlets of leading clothing brands, bookshops and gold sellers. It is also popular for its cafes, dessert parlours and themed restaurants (for example the Hogwarts themed restaurant called The Smokey Cauldron). There is even a sports ground which including facilities for 7-a-side football, tennis, basketball and running). There is also a flower market from where one can get fresh flower bouquets and other similar products.
