I watched both videos and they will not show how hard or time consuming it is to either make the bed or put it away, which makes me assume it is tricky or takes a lot of time, also I notice the guys can not lay north south without hanging head or feet on the arm rests, if those do come off, I would like to see how hard it is to do. There is a lot I like about this camper but the bed is a definite downer. Thanks guys, good video, especially if you like seeing Nick play with the fridge doors, which by the way LTV has had for several years.
One thing I'd like to see regularly on these videos is ground clearance for the back end. I have a 24' Ford chassis Winnebago Fuse and because the back end doesn't slope up, there's a big!! issue with dragging the rear.
Glad you commented on this too, I thought the ground clearance was extremely low for being a 4 x 4. I’m sure it’s nice so you don’t have to hook up chains when you’re on the highway but as far as going up any mountains or trails I’m sure you have a high chance of scraping. @@billredding2000You know the old Volkswagen camping bus had it right, 30mpg too. These new RVs are homes on wheels and they cost about the same. For the price that they want to fetch they should be offering 30+ miles per gallon along with a Boondock feature that lets you camp for a month at a time , that feet will be even harder in California since they want to get rid of the generators .The way inflation is most people have to live in these things just to survive + a retirement check. Regular fuel is five dollars a gallon diesel cost even more at that price. Even millionaires will be second-guessing taking cross-country road trips especially when you just bought a new rig that’s almost 200 K. I really do prefer the Ford class C’s under 26 foot under myself. That’s what I’ve been looking at the Ford transit class B and a 4 x 4 package with the bathroom in the back is the best class B off grid Boondock set up I’ve seen. You do pay considerably more though for the class B and get a little bit extra fuel mileage , I think it’s great for a single or maybe two people three would be really crowded. Price point+ needs with all the amenities with a good build quality that won’t leak. RVs are meant to put on miles and go places. It’s no fun when you can’t travel.
I think it's an interesting RV and has some good features. And it has some room for improvement. Seatbelts in the dinette and couch. To safely take more people on a day trip to a sporting event or the city. And more counter space to make meal prep easier. Now, about the constant comparisons to LTV, or anyone else for that matter. Please knock it off. It's unprofessional. I don't own an LTV in case you are wondering. But there must be a dam good reason they have a 3-year backlog. Can't all be because of Dean's amazing sales skills. Even though the guy could sell snow to the Eskimos. Say, wouldn't Chinook love to be in that position with a multi-year backlog? Focus on building something people love and you will. Until then it's a good idea to be a little humble.
I want to begin my comment by saying that I love your videos! With that said, Hank... The title is clickbait. I agree that you can compare the new Chinook with Leisure Travel and other models, but not the Ekko. There is no storage garage on this model and that is really the key to the Ekko or Coachman model. Again, love your videos so keep them coming.
This is very nice. I would like to see a pull out pantry between the fridge and cook top area. Love the shower/toilet set up. Unlike others, I don’t need or want a garage, so for me, this is a near perfect setup. I would like the option of seat belts, as well as no stripes on the exterior.
Also, more outlets. There is none for the kitchen/sink, stove, burner area. USB, 12 volt, 120 regular, etc. I love excessability. Don't 4get plenty of seat belts.
Agm batteries? That's a huge amount of weight! With the technology of heated Lithium batteries, cold isn't an issue! Not sure what the MSRP is, but I'm sure it's up there, the fact they put AGMs in instead of Lithium, I feel insults the buyers! And there is no comparison with the EKKO! Great video guys!👍
I love the fact this is able to provide me all my water needs during the winter months. I drive from Wisconsin to Arizona for biking and to Montana for skiing every winter with our 2021 Coachman Beyond AWD, Li3, on the awesome Ford Transit, and it has to be winterized, de-winterized and sometimes winterized again to go home to Wisconsin. If I could ask for one thing to be different on this Chinook, it would be to make it 22 feet long so that I can park it at my parking spaces where I go. At 24 feet I’m required to park at remote lots in Arizona and Montana.
I Love Leisure Travel Vans. Now I Love this Chinook as well. I might be leaning toward This one a little more because I think it would sleep two people better. If it came in one solid color it would be better. You all worked well together and this was fun and informative. Great job Thank You. The Bathroom is what is selling me.
This is not a great "Class B or B+" van in my opinion...it is just a small class C...What makes a Class B or B+ van is its flexibility on being off road and go to places where bigger RVs cant go...the cons on this van as a class B is...1- to low to the ground so you could not drive it to remote areas...2- The black and grey water hoses are way to low allowing you to only drive in "paved areas" and to rely on a "dump station"...3- No storage at all for "sports gear" bicycles, boards, Kayaks and so on...Is not a bad van but deff an "Oxymoron" on the Class B or B+ category to be compared with the Ekko...Sad to say but only the Ekko still somewhat offering the best option...Again is sad that unfortunately the US is way behind in the Class B / B+ compared to the models in Europe...Im glad that finally Wingman is coming to the US with the Oasis 540... but is way too small..(After spoken to "Tonny" rep of Wingamm US...they will also import the Oasis 610) Now the Oasis 610 GL would be the perfect "Ekko Killer" among several other great European RVs...Dont even let me get started with the German Models RVs makers (Not mentioning that they are better in quality and around $50K cheaper them US in most classes)...Again...Sad to say...the US is at least about 10 to 15 years behind Europe specially when it comes to Class B vans. PS. One of the reasons why the US is behind on Class B vans is due to the fact the Europe is much older them US with much smaller roads...so since the 60s they have been making campers and later known as Class B vans/Rvs.
@@xochiltrodriguez428 Whatever you do...make sure you are doing a lot of research...check out the Oasis 540...it is in my opinion the best class B for whom is looking for something compact and spacious, the price is up there...however it is only 17 feet long...most parking spaces in the us are 19 feet long so you will have not problems driving it around...The "ceiling bed" is a great idea to give you space and I dont understand why the US market has not catch up to that yet...You really only use the bed 8 hours out of the day...so keeping it on the ceiling to safe space is a great idea. Unfortunately for me it does not has a "garage" or storage for my gear..."surf board, bike, kayak"...but as I said...for whom does not has that many "sports toys" as I do...that is in my pinion the best class B ever...and off course as I mention in the previous comment...it is an European brand coming to the US
@@Coach_Rolando wow, thank you. I don't want something too long. I don't want slide outs either. I would love to hall my snowboarding gear, bike and Kayak too. I don't need much sleep so a decent size bed for me and my dog would be fine. I really want an AWD. Thank you for the advice.
@@xochiltrodriguez428 So we are in the same boat... In our case the only good choice based on price, size and what we need is this 2 options "for now"... The Travato 59GL...Pros - Perfect size and has all we need in terms of "housing" with a "small garage"...Cons - Not a big starage room for our toys unless you contract someone to build you a "box garage" to attach to the back...And is Not a 4x4 and it sits on a Dodge. frame... Then we have the Ekko...It has all we need...nice bathroom, nice size fridge, great garage and more room for storage if you don't option for the "outside kitchen", on a transit Echo booster engine and all wheel drive... The cons... Just a little too big at 22 to 23 feet...but is not bad... also the the dually (2 wheels on back burns too much gas) ... the beds are actually to big and I wish I had even more storage instead. They are both by winnebago ... The good thing about winnebago is that you have technicians all over the US if you need something to be fixed...However still they are not the ultimate RVs class B...Ive seeing all other brands and none of them are as good in terms to offer what "you and I need"...In my opinion the Wingmman Oasis 610 GL or ST would be perfect...cause there is a small bed on the back that could be used as storage room or as a nice bed for your dog...but they are not available in the US yet...but hopefully buy 2025 they will and also other options. Great chatting with you.
I own a 2018 Compass Thor on a transit with a “Dissel” 5 cylinder in line. Pulls up to 10 k and gets 16.8 mpg. Blows away the Ecco Boost right out of the water!
I like the unit and the quality. However why I feel the EKKO is far a head is this. That garage to store my ebike in. Plus I. An put a scooter off the back hitch. I love the back door as long as you don’t want to carry anything with you. But if you do kinda screwed. Still a great coach.
Very impressive! I thought Chinook was out of business...YEARS ago! I LIKE the back door. I like the separate shower/toilet. I like the large wardrobe. I like the Ford Transit.I like the camp side dinette. But...I think you should consider seat belts for the dinette and/or the sofa.
Thanks for showing a great unit! Thanks also for acknowledging the constant interruption comments. But now, Nick can’t shut up! Let the Chinook guy, who’s the more familiar of its features and capabilities, talk please!
The absorption fridge would be a deal-breaker for me. I prefer a 12v, compressor-driven fridge & freezer. Otherwise, all else is well-done. Thanks for the post!
I think one of the aspects of the Wonder and the Ekko that has made them so popular is the huge garage. The comparison doesn’t really work without a garage that will fit bikes, kayaks, surfboards, etc.
@@johnthomson5730 I have an expensive e bike that I really would like inside. I have a pull behind camper right now. I fold my bike and put it inside while I'm traveling.
The Wonder RTB has a cluttered garage . Check out latest Dean video . LTV has taken more space with Lithium batteries and other items. On the other hand, the EKKO garage looks great.
What I prefer in the Ekko over the Maverick. Side entrance, large garage, all outside bins except generator and batteries can be accessed standing up. While the Ekko has no leveling system, I don’t like the Mavericks hydraulic pump and reservoir being under the coach. That being said, Chinook has a long standing reputation for quality and I hope the coach is a success.
Chinook seems to be producing some interesting vehicles and trailers, but I still feel apprehensive regarding their recent return to the industry after a significant absence. Whether they have the financial resources to endure as an independent company …or will be swallowed up as another Thor acquisition, remains to be seen.
You didn’t show if there was a screen door! I still prefer a side door because the outside is an extension of the inside! How do you open up the windows? Are they dual pane to increase isolation?
Just browsing rv videos and cam across this one. I remembered the name and hair cut. I used to watch your firearm vids from sooo long ago lol. Glad to see you’re still around making content. Good work enjoyed watching
As a former Carnival worker and worked in the kitchens at the Daytona racetrack, I know the Chinook is a popular RV. You never see them with a for sale sign. Winnebago, all the time. I think that says a lot. Once someone buys a Chinook they only sell it to upgrade, never out of buyer regret, and by the time they get rid of it due to mileage, it's ready to retire on a permanent parking spot. Might still get lived in during winter off season by the help. I know a gal in Arkansas managed to find a used one with quite a bit of mileage and she traveled in it extensively for business and pleasure and very few issues even when it was old. Most RVS would have been toast by then.
I love this unit. I wish the quick connect for the propane was back by the storage compartment by the back door. And instead of a dinette, you have the option of a recliner.
I like it a lot! But like others I agree there isn't much storage making it feel like an "inactive people's rig" maybe demonstrate what will fit in that giant closest; a kayak, a disassembled bike, a fire pit, a grill, shelves, etc... I don't think folks are wearing a suit camping so that very tall closet can surely be repurposed. What about Wi-Fi connectivity? No one explained how we'd stay connected -or- was it in all the chit chat I skipped? Thank you Nick and Hank for acknowledging cold weather actually exists 😅🤣! Even if we want too, the whole country will not fit into Florida. What's under the sofa? What's under the other booth seat? Please explore all of the nooks & crannies for us, that's why we watch! Still, very entertaining and love the video!
I am Interested in buying one of these b+ vans, but with everyone talking and playing at once, you make it very difficult. If the two silly guys would allow you to show it, I might buy.
Typically, I don’t have the patience to watch long videos other than the important stuff. However, I enjoyed watching the introduction of this beautiful home/vehicle and the interaction of everyone. Thank you so much! BTW, did I miss the price somehow…?
Love the way these guys interact with each other, even if it's hard to hear all the information they're telling us. This unit is the closest I've seen yet to a disabled person's needs for travel or just bouncing around town. I'm genuinely impressed with this chinook. Thank you, guys.
@Marlon Buchanan the whole reason why the Chinook stopped making class b motorhomes is cause of their Floorplans, and yet they are back many years later with the exact same Floorplans lol
@@waynec2962 I liked the old floor plan, I really liked the comfy lounge seat option they had, neither the old or the new has a decent cooking area, Plenty of storage, much better outside storage then the old models. Lots of inside storage. The poor, or difficult bed arrangement is a big turnoff. What I do like is, the living area has a homey feel.
@Van Snyder there are a lot of different Floorplans out on the market, and a lot of people with different tastes. I'm a big fan of outside storage, and I would give up a little inside comfort for outside storage just so I can have a place for my lounging camping chairs and propane fireplace for those cooler nights 👍☺️
I agree totally. After spending the day doing whatever it is that I traveled for I don't want to start playing Tetris with the bed. I also don't need a king size bed in a B+.
It is great to see Chinook back on the market. More competition hopefully means more prices go down...hopefully. Hey, does the "Clap On Clap Off" option come with the Chinook?
It's unfortunate the layout requires the black tank drain sticking out down under the back of the rig. Just waiting for the first dip to scrape off the T-valve and watching your tank dump in your mirror.. "I was wondering why everyone behind me had their windshield wipers on"...
Hank, Nick, Seth, thank you very much. As a prospective buyer, I am trying to comprehensively understand the differences, pros and cons on a B compared to B plus’s. Is there a website you would recommend that would delineate this? Seth, how is the drive of the Maverick compare to a B van on a Ford chassis? Nick, I can see Sunshine RV takes care of training new buyers, but since most companies only give a few years of warranties, where can one go to get service (not for the Ford itself)? Thank you all
You’re welcome PD…So far as I know SSRV and a few other places out there service the “House” or “RV” side…and in my opinion the Transit drives better than the Sprinter…and is easier to get serviced at a Ford dealership
Lovely coach. Really enjoyed your video- lots of fun. The bed set up is not practical-too much to do to get it into sleep mode. Wonderful storage though.
When I tell my friends that I'm going to buy a Chinook, they're going to think that I'm getting a helicopter! But seriously, I like Chinook's design philosophy. I'm used to having a diesel pusher right now, but I need to downsize and this Maverick is on my short list now.
Awesome job Chinook for an AWD, well equipped, 4 Season and durable Camper Van! The interior is well laid out, with a multi-use sleep area, well appointed kitchen and a split bathroom. Missed a big chance to show how it rides, and no video of the roof top. Are the windows dual-paned? The Maverick is 8 inches longer. Which means the Gray water & Black water exhaust pipes are even more vulnerable to scraping the ground in regular road driving. Therefore, owners shouldn’t really drive off-road unless they’re willing/prepared to deal with damaged or ruined Black water exhaust pipes. Given a choice, I would go for the shorter version because of the less-likelihood of damaging the water exhaust pipes.
True story! In the Palm Springs area a guy bought a big Winnebago with a new feature called cruise control. Well he is driving down the 10 freeway and decides he wants a drink so he engages his cruise control and gets up and goes to get a drink. Problem the freeway wasn’t just straight it had a big curve. So while in the back it launched itself into the desert and bounced across the terrain. Eventually it fell to its side, but by then the man had been tossed around the back really bad. He of course totaled his coach and had bruises on top of bruises but alive thankfully!
A non-compressor refrigerator !!!! Way behind the times. Why not a ceiling drop down queen bed as in sooo many European models? If this was a fresh design why not cherry pick all the current best layouts? Love the rear door and straight walk through as well as the split bath.
I've been reviewing the LTV Wonder. I do like this, and don't mind the rear entrance. I would remove the dinette and couch. Put a seat bed conversion behind the cabin side to side, extend the counters, and put in a desk for working. I need to tow 4000lbs. No one ever talks about tow capacity.
It was informative, fun, and entertaining, great job guys, thank you! It is a rarity that I watch an RV review and laugh my head off, Nick's rendition of how to use a fridge was a comedy show :)
I like the coach, even though it doesn't have a slide. The one thing that is missing, is the hot water recirculation. Such an important feature for saving water while you are waiting for the water to heat up. I'm always surprised when I see a new RV that doesn't have this feature.
I like having factory reps to give more in-depth reviews, but this review is too much commercial advertising. Not even comparable to EKKO. Good shell but horrible use of space. No fixed beds, no garage/bike storage, AGM, poor ground clearance, etc. Graphics and window shape look odd/dated. Best use is campgrounds, very limited off pavement. Hard sell for boondocking. Agree, room for improvements (lots). More class C than B+.
Ground clearance needs to be higher. Would be interesting to see if it scrapes on drive entrances and exiting . wonder what minimum ground clearance is?
Hey Hank like your videos. Do you know if Sunshine State RV's do work from RV's bought in another state? I have a 2020 Beyond and would love to upgrade to lithium batteries? I saw the video on your RV getting the upgrade but we were not ready for ours yet until now. Thank you and keep doing a great job.
That’s pretty ballsy to say this more luxury than LTV. It’s quality might hold up for off-road, but I gotta tell you: that outside look is pretty unattractively boxy. The tile in the half bath is quite nice …nicer than I have seen in the LTV, but is that toilet porcelain or is it plastic? The fridge is the exact same one in the LTV so it can’t be nicer… they both use the 6.7 Dometic which opens from both sides. The kitchen stove area is microscopic, thought it is nice that the cooktop is so easily removable. Definitely nice that there’s so much kitchen cabinetry.. the pull out pantries on both sides are quite nice. The bed set up is limiting. And the step down into the cab is ugh!
I like the video that you showed but I would like to know more about the TV Can you watch TV when someone else is driving And can the TV be put on a swivel One more thing is the floor wide enough to put a blow up bed on it. Can you please get back to me on this
I agree with the "click bait" comment below. Nothing to compare here with the Ekko. And to be honest, the Ekko just copies what the Europeans have been doing for a bit - at a WAY CHEAPER price. But it does offer a generator AND LITHIUM batteries. Sorry guys.
My comment is more about the presentation. At least Leisure Vans takes their walk around tour seriously. None of that good ol boy inside joking and waste of time. Hated assembling the bed. Sorry not my thing and the presentation was a turn off. Made me feel like an outsider and maybe so but sales is all about inclusion because it’s all about spending the green. Do better
Look like at least one of them would have looked different, fully loaded extra wide body, pull down bed in the rear or sofa bed in rear with separate shower, and refrigerator with bottom freezer. Chinook 23ft or 24ft that is ready for the cold weather and hot weather. We know we are dreaming and we look forward to buying one but not the one that look alike with just different length and name but the same look. JR & Gi
Copy that…I think the difference in name just has to do with the chassis being different…the transit one is longer, yes same floor plan though with a bit more storage…the Transit is way better than the Sprinter in My opinion
@@strangerpalooza An 8 inch longer couch instead of a small storage spot would have been much better. as a solo traveler (me and my dog) it would have been nicer to have a couch that the rear cushions could be removed and have a full twin size bed, instead of having to lay my head on an arm rest like in the videos. Also is there an option to get the lounge chairs at the dinette like the older Chinooks had, I loved those chairs, very comfy.
Looks like a fine RV. The problem is that with the exception of the manufacture representative, the two other "sales people, keep stepping over each other in their attempts to be funny. It is hard to concentrate on the product with these two yahoos constantly interrupting each other, and making inane, comments that only detract from the real purpose of the video.
Can someone explain to me why it seems everyone uses lift up upper cabinet doors(that you are eventually going to hit your head on) instead of sliding upper doors? I would much prefer them. You don't have to stand back to open the doors. How much solar is on the roof? Does it have Wi-Fi w/ booster? How big are the water tanks? Most important question is estimated sale price?
@@dwoodygura Good point, maybe someone should develop a roller system for sliding doors, might make a really good selling point, although you would be limited to having only half of the cabinets open at one time.

The bed set up is probably the deal breaker, a queen bed that comes down from the ceiling would work great with this model.
Way too much side talk and repetitive facts to be enjoyable. Liked the vehicle
Never a good sign when you don’t see a price!
Pls list the mrsp in the video and the realistic sale price in ALL your videos. Thanks
Thanks for the great comment Ted…it’s interesting how there’s all these different rules everywhere you go
love everything but that bed is a killer i prefer the bed in the back on lifter ,
I Love Leisure Travel Vans. Now I Love this Chinook as well. I might be leaning toward This one a little more because I think it would sleep two people better. If it came in one solid color it would be better. You all worked well together and this was fun and informative. Great job Thank You. The Bathroom is what is selling me.
It's a miracle. A 15 minute video in only 50 minutes! Seriously, the RV is great!
Thank you for your comments. I'm learning so much from you guys commenting. Planning 2025 to purchase.
The Travato 59GL...Pros - Perfect size and has all we need in terms of "housing" with a "small garage"...Cons - Not a big starage room for our toys unless you contract someone to build you a "box garage" to attach to the back...And is Not a 4x4 and it sits on a Dodge. frame... Then
we have the Ekko...It has all we need...nice bathroom, nice size fridge, great garage and more room for storage if you don't option for the "outside kitchen", on a transit Echo booster engine and all wheel drive...
@@Coach_Rolando thank you. Likewise
Thank you bro, I want to watch your videos but yes you definitely were talking over the sales men
one of the best factory reps I've seen. Super Knowledgeable. Thanks Seth..
There are 5 seatbelts… 3 on sofa, 2 on dinette
Thanks for showing a great unit! Thanks also for acknowledging the constant interruption comments. But now, Nick can’t shut up! Let the Chinook guy, who’s the more familiar of its features and capabilities, talk please!
The absorption fridge would be a deal-breaker for me. I prefer a 12v, compressor-driven fridge & freezer. Otherwise, all else is well-done. Thanks for the post!
agree.. I will never own an absorption unit for anything.. 12/24v compressors are so efficient nowadays..
The Leisure Travel Wonder 24RTB has a WAY nicer floor plan (and has the same fridge) for well under $200k.
I think one of the aspects of the Wonder and the Ekko that has made them so popular is the huge garage. The comparison doesn’t really work without a garage that will fit bikes, kayaks, surfboards, etc.
I agree. For such a large unit, there really isn't much outside storage.
I usually use a bike rack mounted to the hitch. Not sure if I would use the gear garage for bikes.
Totally agree. Not enough storage. I also can’t stand having to reset a bed up every day. Doesn’t even compare to Ekko or Wonder.
Thanks Mark, good points!
I watch the whole video and loved it don't get me wrong but why in the world wouldn't somebody tell us how much it cost
Love that the commode and shower are separate. But, the shower could be just a tad bigger though.
With an 87lb dog blocking the isle that fridge door is a game changer.😅❤
Just browsing rv videos and cam across this one. I remembered the name and hair cut. I used to watch your firearm vids from sooo long ago lol. Glad to see you’re still around making content. Good work enjoyed watching
Perfect but I suggest a splash guard between the sink and dinette as well as between the cooktop and the sofa. What a beautiful coach!!!
Yeah that’s a good idea 👍🏾
Leisure Travel is the Rolls-Royce of this type of class B+, everyone is coping them , but you can's beet the LTV Wondor
They said there were options for the dinette, like a second couch. Theater type seats would not give you but one twin bed.
@@scottpearce7466 I'm only one person. That would be perfect.
I LIKE IT ALOT. IT IS A CLASS C WITH OUT CAB OVER BED. CLASS B IS A VAN CAMPER. THANKS. I LOVE IT WHEN A GIRL SWALLOWS.
I sort of wish that Chinook would put a over the cab bed as such.
Typically, I don’t have the patience to watch long videos other than the important stuff. However, I enjoyed watching the introduction of this beautiful home/vehicle and the interaction of everyone. Thank you so much!
BTW, did I miss the price somehow…?
I like the videos that tell u the price why is it such a big secret
So, very similar to the original, which is smart since those have held their value well and remain very popular.
Love the way these guys interact with each other, even if it's hard to hear all the information they're telling us. This unit is the closest I've seen yet to a disabled person's needs for travel or just bouncing around town. I'm genuinely impressed with this chinook. Thank you, guys.
Nah. They talk over each other and carry this hype vibe. Not a fan.
Poor Floorplan, I wouldn't buy one 😢 and Nick is so excited about that fridge, but leisure travel vans have been using it for years, lol
I agree bed step up is not good. Hopefully they will read comments and make changes
I don’t like the bed set up at all!!
Great insulation and love that ya'all PRE-built the walls assembly
Too much talk!
I agree. I kept advancing the video ahead and hoping I wouldn't miss anything important, but I just couldn't stand the unnecessary jabber any longer.
“Chicks love the dimmer”….Really?
……skip ahead to about 25 mins to even see a peak of the inside…
Glad I got my EKKO and feel it is still offers more.
I think the ECKO floor plan is the best. Separate Bedroom wins all the time!
I agree totally. After spending the day doing whatever it is that I traveled for I don't want to start playing Tetris with the bed. I also don't need a king size bed in a B+.
That's terrific the new owner two nite coaching session!😮😮😮😊
It is great to see Chinook back on the market. More competition hopefully means more prices go down...hopefully. Hey, does the "Clap On Clap Off" option come with the Chinook?
Yeah I agree Alexander…competition is always good for the consumer…no clap on clap off by Nick is extra 🤣
What is the price
The fridge is amazing especially for left handed individuals
I just don't get why the US is SO far behind Europe in the camper?! The Canadian Wonder Van is even better than what we are putting out.
Lovely coach. Really enjoyed your video- lots of fun. The bed set up is not practical-too much to do to get it into sleep mode. Wonderful storage though.
You two are hilarious together...Seth blends right in.
Thanks Gloria 😁
When I tell my friends that I'm going to buy a Chinook, they're going to think that I'm getting a helicopter!
But seriously, I like Chinook's design philosophy. I'm used to having a diesel pusher right now, but I need to downsize and this Maverick is on my short list now.
Cool, Douglas, glad we could help out 😁
Awesome job Chinook for an AWD, well equipped, 4 Season and durable Camper Van!
I love the side door with the slide
Driver's licenses should be harder to get and keep.
A non-compressor refrigerator !!!! Way behind the times. Why not a ceiling drop down queen bed as in sooo many European models? If this was a fresh design why not cherry pick all the current best layouts? Love the rear door and straight walk through as well as the split bath.
Love the outside! Now the inside! The suspense is a killer.❤❤😂
They talked about it 5000 pounds
It would make sense to put an awning over the rear door in my opinion.
I agree
@@karenarmand3482 That is a good Idea
I saw another video for this model and NO ONE spoke about the windows, nor how they get covered for privacy, shades, black outs, etc.
It was informative, fun, and entertaining, great job guys, thank you!
It is a rarity that I watch an RV review and laugh my head off, Nick's rendition of how to use a fridge was a comedy show :)
Thanks, we try to have fun, 😁👍🏾
So near perfect for me. Good job!
Thanks Don 😁👍🏾
Not for claustrophobic people. A side door provides cross ventilation in such a confined space. Leisure Travel still has the best layout plan.
The head clearance killed it for me. Overall nice rig but the bed setup not great and no place for toys.
I like the rear door entrance design, it reminds me of the Old Champion TransVans.
I like the coach, even though it doesn't have a slide.
The one thing that is missing, is the hot water recirculation. Such an important feature for saving water while you are waiting for the water to heat up.
I'm always surprised when I see a new RV that doesn't have this feature.
I’d like to see that as well on more class b vans as well Laurie
I like having factory reps to give more in-depth reviews, but this review is too much commercial advertising.
Not even comparable to EKKO.
Good shell but horrible use of space. No fixed beds, no garage/bike storage, AGM, poor ground clearance, etc.
Graphics and window shape look odd/dated. Best use is campgrounds, very limited off pavement. Hard sell for boondocking.
Agree, room for improvements (lots).
More class C than B+.
I wonder if an aftermarket Quigley could lift it 4"? It should be just as good off road as an EKKO then.
Ground clearance needs to be higher. Would be interesting to see if it scrapes on drive entrances and exiting . wonder what minimum ground clearance is?
I agree. Even with my uninformed and untrained eye, it looked way too low to the ground and very vulnerable beneath.
@@shannonking6328 nice if careful
Coachmen Crosstrek on the AWD Transit chassis rocks. Love it.
Cool…I enjoy seeing lots of options out there!
Only 1,019 pounds cargo carrying capacity? Wow, that's super low!
Nice dry bathroom and shower. What’s the length of this RV? We are looking for a 19’ RV with separate bathroom and shower. 🙏🙏🙏🙏
These guys are definitely good talkers.
what is the MSRP?
Can you please get back to me on this
I can't believe I missed the RV show. It sucks getting old!😅
I agree with the "click bait" comment below. Nothing to compare here with the Ekko. And to be honest, the Ekko just copies what the Europeans have been doing for a bit - at a WAY CHEAPER price. But it does offer a generator AND LITHIUM batteries. Sorry guys.
Bless the Brother who Sneezed!
Do better
Non-inverter generator, AGM batteries, absorption refrigerator, medium light brown wood cabinets. This is barf City
Guys, show us how the table goes up down, or do we remove it? How does the sofa turn into a bed.?
The biggest selling point for me is a big shower tall enough to allow me, 6 foot 3 inch to stand up and have plenty of room
Looks like a fine RV. The problem is that with the exception of the manufacture representative, the two other "sales people, keep stepping over each other in their attempts to be funny. Very irritating. I am a serious buyer, and I want to know, and learn more about your Class b's.
I think sliding upper doors might rattle more during transit.
@@dwoodygura not if you put felt in the channels
@@dwoodygura Good point, maybe someone should develop a roller system for sliding doors, might make a really good selling point, although you would be limited to having only half of the cabinets open at one time.
Nice Job as always, Hank
I may need to make a trip out there to look at that chinook rv
